This has happened to me before but happened tonight again.

You coming out of Tesco Express.... some-one is walking on the other side of the road....... They give you a huge wave and shout 'Hi, How yer doing?'

You shout back 'Great, how are you?'.

You get a few yards down the street and think 'who the hell was that?':confused::confused:

Oh yes. All the time.

Just the other day, as I walked along the road, a car slowed right down, sounded his horn and waved enthusiastically at me. I waved, enthusiastically, back

Some years ago, when walking to the bus stop at Hyde Park corner, I recognised my cousin (he used to work on the pleasure boats on th lake) coming toward me so I ran to him and grabbed him round the neck. "Heeyyyy, you ugly git, what are you doing round here"

The poor stranger was mortified at being manhandled by this big galloot, despite my profuse appollogies :D

Hubby and I were out in our yard and and a man gets out of his car and starts walking toward me. I smiled and said, "May we help you?" As he got closer I realized this man was my older son. He came for a short visit form North Dakota to Georgia..............and I wasn't expecting him. :wah: Talk about embarassing.

I don't know why, but I have a thing for hardware stores. I love them! I'd rather go to a hardware store than a clothing store.
