wow! You'd think the metropolitan police would learn that cover ups always get found out. I notice it was allegedly one of the workers in a bank that released the video-not a natural sympathiser you would have thought. On the face of it it looks like an unprovoked attack but you don't know what happened just before-what he'd been doing. Don't know about you but in that kind of environment I would have been getting the hell out of it not walking casually.
One of my neighbours a policeman who was involved when the g20 was up in scotland. there were demonstrators chucking bottles filled with **** and other nasty substances at guys just doing their job hoping to provoke a reaction but you never saw that on TV just as they didn't show much of the peaceful demonstrations with thousands marching to make their point but spend all the time showing the rioters. Still wouldn't justify what looked like an unprovoked attack on someone from behind who had his hands in his pocket

At first reports we were led to believe he was a rioter and now an innocent. However, What was he doing strolling around with his hands in his pockets amid that lot? It's like the days of mod's and rocker's on the bank holiday..... you just didn't go near the place! The body language is not right to me. If you were in that enviroment, you would be guarded, not strolling, hands in pockets. When it was first released, i remember thinking, who the hell even goes to work given the warnings they had?
It's all a bit iffy to me but i wouldn't put it past plod for one moment.
The whole coverage of the G20 was pathetic anyway. I saw more press and reporters than i did rioters especially when they smashed into the bank. As for that guy who was all over the papers with a head wound..... I'm convinced that was Jam!!

QUOTE] This is interesting, looks like the plod could be facing criminal charges:
G20 police officer who hit man minutes before he died could face criminal charges | Mail Online
tut tut.....They should have checked no-one was filming them.
