YouTube - Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

I like you tube, a lot of videos have been pulled because of the preforming rights society, very short sighted imo, don't know about you but I find myself trawling and hearing records that you just wouldn't get to hear otherwise. records-showed my age there didn't I:o

The stranglers have pulled alot of of U tube vids after some-one kept using 'Golden Brown' to take the pisse out of Gordon Brown.

I hadnt heard of them, no. I just flitted through a few videos on Youtube and I'm impressed. Very late 60's California, San Fransisco kind of feel to it. If that makes sense.

Like it. Cheers

I concur. I'm always trawling Youtube. I have my own stuff on there now, and still more coming.

I like it when you are looking for something and another thing pops up and you go "WOW" mum used to play that. I can't get Sara Storer stuff on it anymore though . There's only her new releases, then she pulls them . So I suppose artists use it for promoting purposes too.

One thing though.......I remember when artists first complained about Youtube. How it would drop their record sales. I think that's crap. If I want to buy a CD or DVD I like to preview it first Youtube is an exellent way of doing that. If I like it I go and buy it.:)

eg: I went and spent money on a new U2 album. It cost me a fortune . It's bloody crap!!!!!! I was listening to the radio and one of the songs from the album was played . I remember thinking "this better be a hit or else". So far it's awful and will probably be a flop.

I enjoyed that, gmc. :) I have never seen or heard that one before. Thanks for sharing.

I have included a holiday video that takes me back. :wah: Ever seen this one? Corny, but cute.
