Religious the doco

Post by Lon »

Last night I watched this do-co featuring humorist Bill Maher and his sarcastic, acidic interview of a mixed bag of religious leaders. His interview style is something else and I am surprised that he didn't get decked.

Yeah its funny how religious people seem to get all hot under the collar when asked rational questions about what they believe in. It seems to be a common thing though.

Methinks this may be due to the fact that they don't think much about their own beliefs in that way, they just feel the need to believe in such things, and get angry when awkward questions get in between them and what they believe in as "God".

Who is the woman who wrote that article? She is not the brightest bunny in the pack is she? Is that was passes for serious criticism in the American mainstream press? Wow.

The N.Y. Post is not a stellar paper. Here's another.

seen bits on you tube-looks quite interesting. It's one of the worrying features of modern times that religion seems to be having a bit of a revival and there are those who think they should be above criticism or even just having the **** taken out of them because of their absurd beliefs.
