:-5 Ugh what a week for albertans. We just received some more taxes, yep

add an extra $3.00 onto our carton of cigarettes (now up to $40.00 per carton) NO I don't smoke but feel sorry for those that can't quit.

add an extra $2.85 onto our average 750 ml of booze

add an extra $1.30 onto 12 beer

AND....

WTF the newest budget says this is the first time in 15 years yes 15 years that Alberta is running at a deficit..... Just where in hades did our suplus go to....

Not to mention the Jack*** permier cut oil and gas royalties earlier this year.....

Crikey the **^%()%$# government is out to bleed this province dry just because we "HAD" money......

b - a - s - t - a - r - d - s

what next sales tax.... oh I expect it soon.

Now before you all tell me to quit my sinning.... Don't, my point is a poorly run government (provincial) takes the lazy way out of troubled times by upping luxury taxes. JERKS!!!!! JERKS!!!! JERKS!!!!! Ya better be taking this extra money and be putting it into programs to help the poor stop their addictions.:-5

thanks I feel better now.

I do know how you feel.......

Our tax's were raised also....on everything, yet they can give away tons to

foreign aid, other countries, their luxury lunches and trips, etc.

They are now building a new harborfront down at Lake Ontario......downtown Toronto, we don't need a new! You should see how beautiful it is.

Our property tax's in Toronto are raised every year by 3%:-5:-5

I blame all of this on Harper!:-5:-5

I don't even know if this is going to be the worst. Jessi's b-day is the end of May and mine is close to the end of June...and lets not forget Mothers Day. He spoiled us rotten, and every holiday was like my birthday to him. He always put so much thought into gifts that he always surprised me.

Please send some prayers for my daughter Jessi (16), she is REALLY struggling right now. :-4

Yeah, it will rough for her for awhile. Not easy losing your dad at the tender age of 16. I believe Hope6 lost her father at the same age. You may want her input, maybe she can give you some guidance.

I know how hard this has been on her and she is really struggling with it.

and it will be hard on your both on these occasions, so plan something and both of you go out for a nice dinner.

I practically had to force her to go to school yesterday. She kept sending me some not so nice texts, so I called her couselor there so she called Jessi down there to talk to her...Jessi said she was there about 1 1/2 hours. Good news too is that the grief support group for this last term of the year starts today and she's all signed up for it. I'm also trying to find a good place for her to go to regular grief counseling one on one that accepts Medicaid...not an easy job.

yeah I feel like whining too, I broke a bone in my left foot at the end of October last year, was in plaster twice, first time for 5 weeks, then 6 weeks, been out of plaster for 3 months now and despite physio it still hurst and is still swollen and I am keeping my fingers, and anything else I can, crossed that when I go back to the hospital next Tuesday that it has completely mended now, if not they will have to put a screw in it to hold it together, and then back in plaster again, so yeah I am a bit cheesed off.:(

crutches aren't much fun are they, we had snow on the ground at the same time, which only added to it.

Thanks again for your kind thoughts, just keep your fingers crossed for me next Tuesday afternoon.

I was wondering about the snow...it's been around 70f here for the last few days. Yes I took a walk in my back yard. I walked straight to the bonfire, played with it for awhile, then had to walk back into the house! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I'm not evil...I like to burn papers that have anything important on them so I don't worry about anyone getting ahold of any personal stuff.

Just have the car towed here and I'll take a look at it. :driving:

I am back whining and complaining again, went to the hospital today, had an xray and found out that my broken metatarsal has healed a little in the last 12 weeks, but not completely, so back to physio and 6 more weeks of a swollen and painful foot, but he did say that because it had healed a little since it was last xrayed at the end of January that it now isn't necessary to have a screw put in it, but he said he didn't know why it still hurt or why it was still swollen.:(
