Paul Unger, who lives across the street from the Kellermanns, called the family a "solid, salt-of-the-earth kind of family" that hosted the neighborhood's Halloween party. "He was just a nice guy ... You cannot imagine what kind of pressures he must have been under," Unger said.

Some neighbors said Kellermann had lost a noticeable amount of weight under the strain of the job, and some said they suggested to him he should quit to avoid the stress. The neighbors did not want to be quoted by name because they didn't want to upset the family.

I think it is sad, the things that some folks feel justified in saying about others..I also think the Iowa Senator needs an ass kicking. However, I'm sure he'd be the first to point out that AIG is not Freddie Mac so he has no reason to feel like he is an idiot politician..:rolleyes:

Looks as though he said it'd make him feel better if they topped themselves, rather than suggest they do... people are too sensitive.

Talk about an insensative comment .

Why would anyone feel better/good if another human being comitted suicide?

(obvious odious types eg Fred West, Harold Shipman excluded)
