Everyone can hear me coming through town now . In fact I scared the crap out of my neighbours who started running because they thought I was the school bus.:yh_rotfl

I've already "pimped my ride". All cars should have black woollen plush seat covers. And a new stereo system ( that plays mp3's ) and speakers.

The spot light and driving lights are next on the list.

Nissan Navaro. 1990. Older car with grunt. But I was having a look at the owner manual and this guy obviously did not take it "off road."......................Well that's about to change:D:D It's immaculate. NO dints, No scratches ( yes yes I looked beyond the detailing) No sun damage to the interior. Even the seat have no rips or scratches. Very well looked after car. ;)

Oh and it's on petrol and LPG.

oNly problem is the lights are all too dim. So I have to get it to an auto electrical place to have the ampage upped a bit. That's why I rackon he's never had it off road becuase in the city he have the lights in the street to help him but out here you need stronger lights.

It was 186000 but hte engine was reconditioned 15000 ago. The engine seems to have had all new tubes and wiring and stuff. Everything looks new. I've summized that maybe he only used it to tow a caravan or horse float.

did you have the electrical checked out before buying it?

did they say it was dim becasue he never drove it?

(I have never heard of that)....I was thinking maybe its the battery as they only last 4 years.

....did they say how old the battery was?

Umm $7000 Aus. But I got him to take a grand off (it was $8000)

I told him I really didn't need it because it was a third car and I really preferred a spa bath. And the cost came down. I payed cash and when I showed him the $100 notes I've never seen a business man turn into an office so quickly.:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl .................And of course I got the Old "you're killing me here" routine...............What can I say I'm a haggler:wah:

Now I just have to learn to drive the bloody thing which is not easy with a 14 year old in the back giving me driving tips.:-5:-5 Not only that but now (apparently) I have to fit a swivel hunting chair to the tray:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I've driven 4x4 before but I'm going to do a 4x4 driving course now.

but it takes care of everything . bullbar for the kangas, canopy for the football matches (so we're nice and cosy and dry) gas for the long journeys. 4x4 to get down peoples driveways. I have to fit a roof rack for the kayaks and it will hold all the fishing gear. and my new dog when it's born.

:wah:No the funny thing is I have no trouble getting out and is alot easier than a "normal" car cause I sort of slide out.Ive been thinking about changing the 4x4 but out here at times its so needed...like when I hit some floods earlier in the year here and being in the country it does come in handy:thinking:
