Sales of Y-fronts up 35 per cent in recession, says Debenhams - Telegraph

"The oft-derided style of men's underwear has been the High Street giant's fastest selling pants this year, out performing the more trendy boxers and trunks.

Last month, Y-fronts outsold boxer shorts for the first time since the early 1990s - the last time when Britain was in recession. "

**Why?** It's very simple Bill.

Since time began, man has had the primitive urge to feel his testies at every given opportunity. While the boxer short became fashionable, fiddling with your goolies was not as accessable as with y fronts. Men have only just worked this out and have gone back to the pant when they can fumble about with easy access. :D
