I think they should have polled older kids or adults for that matter. What does a 7yr old know about food and origins?

still its funny they should say those dishes when they were asked,, it shows what they are eating at home. if i was asked that question when i was 7,, i may not have known exactly what they meant by a british native dish,, but if i thought about what i ate at home it would have been very different to pizza and curry:yh_rotfl we never got that... although wait i am lying about the curry cos we have always eaten home made curry growing up as my uncle used to make it for us,, but he was indian so we knew it was an indian dish:D But opur mams never made spag bol, pizza etc, we never even had take out food unless it was fish and chips:D

Every Friday growing up was pizza night and it's the same with my family....except they like cheesesteaks too.:wah: Now the cheesesteak originated in Philadelphia, PA and is a fact.

Dont forget the real East End Way to eat Pie/Mash.....lots of vinager and pepper...and note the pies are not just plain meat pies....they are made still in the way they were all those years ago in Jack The Ripper Days and no the meat didnt come from Sweeny Todds:wah::wah:;)
