CAIRO - An 8-year-old Saudi girl has divorced her middle-aged husband after her father forced her to marry him last year in exchange for about $13,000, her lawyer said Thursday.

My prayerful thoughts are with those victims of child abuse!!! MANY men in the mideast need to repent!!! I have read in the NY TIMES that this abuse is COMMON!!! This makes me livid!!!

I would respond with "Who could do such a thing?", but I've, unfortunately, met really sick people who've done such things. On a lighter note, I hope her and her lawyers took that ******* to the cleaners!

What can we say. Monsterous that this marriage was ever allowed.

Yet there are those petitioning for a form of Sharia law to be implimented in Britain.

For the safety and well being of its residents Britain must block these attempts solidly and not pussyfoot around trying not to offend.
