MPs expenses.

Now that their expenses are at least somewhat public, it's obvious why they didn't want them to be!

You can say that again.

I want them to buy a block of flats within the greater London Area, do them up to a decent standard and let them out to MP's fre of charge and where necessary get them to use public transport. Allowance of one return ticket a week to their constituancy. The subsidised bars and restaraunts in the House of Commons can cater for their needs. Anything else can be paid for out of their ample salary

If they represent us they should live like us. They dont have any more special needs than the rest of us. Those of us that commute to London, buy a weekly/monthly/yearly travelcard. I work away from home a lot and no one feeds me or pays for my expenses but me
