People...

Youve seen the news, youve seen the pictures and listened to the horror stories.

These people are in trouble. Theyre our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters. They are fellow Americans and fellow human beings.

We each have our own struggles and responsibilities yet dont we also have a responsibility to reach out to others in need ?

These people are in need. Collectively, together as a group perhaps there is something we can do. Ive seen your hearts and they shine. Im not sure how to get started but if we could each do what we can, $5.00, $10.00, $25.00 ??? Whatever you can ?

Takers ? Ideas ? Can we help ?

Yes as a forum, combined. Raise money together to be set up in an agreed account or to an agreed organization, something, anything ???

Ok I think its a safe bet. I know there were problems with some 9/11 funds with some of the organizations but hopefully thats a situation corrected.

I dont know ? I would hope for the best...the bottom line is people are dying, starving, they have no water, place to live, sleep, clothes, toiletries, sanitary surroundings, their entire city is gone. Theyre trying to survive.

What if it were us ? They need help !

I dont have a plan and I dont know. An account in the causes name would have to be set up or we could agree on an organization to donate to.

Perhaps admin would get involved, I just dont know Im looking for sound ideas.

If not as a forum then perhaps a plea for us to all do what we can on our own if thats more comfortable for folks.

Our Chapter of the ALZHEIMER'S Association has already started a drive to take donations for all employees, I have made a donation, and have made a donation to my local RED CROSS. This is something well all need to do, its our country, and so many are in desperate need of anything. We are also collecting clothes, shoes, blankets, water you name it and will have it shipped from each chapter. Please if you can open your heart to these AMERICAN'S who so need our help.:-1
