Peter Lake's carrots

Post by Oscar Namechange »

I have thought long and hard about putting this thread on as i appreciate that many folk are suffering due to the credit crunch and losing jobs. I didn't want folk thinking i was bragging but i sooooooooo want to share this with my friends on FG.

I must point out that Mr O has worked hard all his life, mostly in the RAF and has paid his taxes and has invested wisely over the years never buying on credit. Due to his illness, he had to officially retire this year.

He has been acting very odd lately and has made some furtive trips into the city centre that he would not tell me where he was going or why.

Yesterday, he told me he had to go out again to buy some carrots. I argued that we didn't need them as we had broccolli and cauliflour for today's dinner but he went anyway. He did indeed come back with a pack of carrots that I'm cooking now with our meal.

About an hour ago, he asked if i wanted the real carrots that he'd bought and presented me with this;

The pic doesn't do it justice really. I am indeed very lucky. He's back in hospital tomorrow in Oncology so maybe that's why he did it now. He's stuffing his face with as much food as poss right now as he has to starve after 10 pm tonight :wah:

Carolly;1186549 wrote: Yep you prob will but the more the better:D;) I'm actually convinced it's under the bed. i lost a lot of weight last year and my rings were coming off my finger in the night and i'd find them in the bed. Problem is, the bed is an American Queen size and so heavy, it can't be lifted. I've had brooms under there and all sorts but if it's rolled into the middle underneath, i can't reach it. Either that or it rolled off one night onto the floor and i've hoovered it up :o:o

That is called a T-Y-P-O

You cant have it checked for signals. Its a new technology Peter Lake built in his garage with lawnmower parts.

You are in denial.
