Text Size

I'm sure this is an incredibly dumb issue, but I'm having a hard time changing my text size.

I tried to make a word smaller, so I clicked on "size" and selected "2" and then I typed the word in between the code...and when I went to preview my post, the words were all the same size. Am I missing a step? I had the same problem with trying to use color...I selected the color, typed in between the code, and the text stayed black.

first, you start at size 2.



I just clicked size one and started typing. This one I selected and then clicked 4.

Whoops! Well, I did try to make it bigger once, and change the color. I tried your WYSIWYG idea so here goes....bigger text! WOOO! Holy crap it worked. Thanks!
