We need to come up with a phrase that covers the whole day like the Austraians do. You know the one...Good day.

Hope you had a great day Fuzzy. :-4

Now that was lucky. It is so true that most emergency injuries or stuff like that there, happen on a weekend. Normally you have to make an appt. and wait. Or they get you in on an emergency call.

That is a long stretch of time. I know that I hate it when they forecast 30% on one day, 20% the next and 50% the next. What part of the day will it not rain, if it really does?

I think they throw darts at a weather board and then make a guess. :yh_rotfl

I know, it just doesn't fit into my long term plans. I would like to get some flowers planted and the yard cleaned up a little. I still need to get my patio furniture out so I have someplace to sit on the nicer days. I love sitting outside and drinking my morning coffee and listening to the birdies sing. So calming. :D

I have a deck outback and the furniture is already on it. I like to sit out on Sunday morning going over the paper...the opinion section is my fave, then on to the entertainment part, etc.:-6

Mowing when it's wet is such a mess!!! I bet the rain makes the birds happy, though. It makes the worms come up out of the soil.

Today is such a perfect day weather wise. I almost feel like calling in. I won't but such a waste to such a beautiful day. I have a few important questions to ask my new manager so I guess going is will be necessary. I am to do the bookwork Sunday and I need to know how to open the safe properly so that the alarm doesn't go off. Now that I would say is important. If an alarm does go off, I also need to know the passcode. I don;t like my job well enough to go to jail for it.

Nice to see that Swine Flu is no long headline news. All that fluff and bother about something that fizzeled. More people die from the plain old flu than Swine flu did.

In the U.S., an estimated 25–50 million cases of the flu are currently reported each year — leading to 150,000 hospitalizations and 30,000–40,000 deaths yearly. If these figures were to be estimated incorporating the rest of the world, there would be an average of approximately 1 billion cases of flu, around 3–5 million cases of severe illness, and 300,000–500,000 deaths annually.

Flu-related deaths can result from pneumonia and from exacerbations of cardiopulmonary conditions and other chronic diseases. Deaths of older adults account for more than 90% of deaths attributed to pneumonia and influenza.

sooooooooooooooo glad my wedding rings are gone!:guitarist:guitarist

its sooooooooooooooo easy to do!

just go to to 'sell'

then find how to sell, and what you will be charged by ebay.

there in an insertion fee and a final fee once you have sold it........easy, done deal.

my shipping was to anywhere in Canada only, and it's sent regular mail, which cost me 4.00.

I have become extremely independent after only 2 weeks and it feels fabulous again!

on fg, .....no one has taken even the slightest interest, just yourself and one other member........

my neighbour, he is my age, and lives with his 17 year old son, he has been a great help!........he offered to cut my front grass..but as I can do that, I may ask him instead to clean the snow off the driveway in the winter and pay him for it...as he has a snowblower......but I will see.........not worried about winter yet.

I do have another neighbor, and she is just awesome to talk to as she has gone through it as well.

Odie, it did take 2 years before anyone around me asked if I might need some help. My neighbor used to work at the Chrysler plant but is now retired so he has alot of free time. I did get some help from some of the regulars at work but now that I am transfered to another store, well, my old helpers are gone. :( I really only need help with the mowing and the snow removal. I have a breathing problem so too strenuous physical activity is very difficult for me. Even a set of stairs is a problem on some days but I'm doin it. IT 's the being lonely part that gets to me sometimes but that too passes.

I do care about how you are getting along and hope that you know that I am here if you want to chat. Take care my friend. :-4

thing is with me.......I don't want anyone to know that he is gone.....accept those two neighbours.........you never know what someone might do when they know you live alone.;)

even park my car in the driveway so people know someone is home, rather than the garage......Toronto is known as a high-crime city,

funny, after mowing the back lawn, which sits in a gully of water, the grass beign so heavy........I ended up with breathing problems as well.

thank you my friend.....talk later. .
