I don't know about you but it's not just tools in our house. Sellotape for example..... you can never find it so you buy a new roll every time and then you find the old one's. same with envelopes, balls of string and staples.

hi guys,

im still here !!!!!

god willing i should be going now between 12 and 2pm tomorrow. at first it was going to be 4pm yesterday or today, the removal guy phoned me at 11-30 am yesterday and said i'll be there in 30 mins :-2 and i said NO you bloody wont !! so we agreed on thursday and im so glad, we've had the most awful day here weather wise, torrential rain most of the day.

cant believe its my last nite here after 3yrs 7mths 11 days !!!!

the estate agent said its mostly people my age in the surrounding properties so some much welcome peace and quiet at long last.

anyway, ive got to be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to get me curtains washed and dried and put away me kettle toaster etc and get the dog out, he's not happy bless him, cant understand why everything is all over the place.

will say good bye now and hope im not going to be away too long.

Hi Helen ! A bit of a false start LOL, still as you say it was very bad weather in Cornwall on Tuesday, but I think they forecast that it would be a sunny day Thursday - hope so ! Good luck Mrs.

We're going to be away for a few days, I think, so long as our caravan has been sorted for us. We'll be taking a few bits and pieces for our new 'home' - bedding and cooking things etc. and the boys will be popping over to the beach hut to make sure it's good, clear a few personal bits out, do any repairs, painting as necessary - ready for it's sale, which we have given the go-ahead to. The Wells caravan park people will be dealing with it for us, as they have a list of people wanting huts ! I hope it sells fairly quickly so we can have the money for it to do the things we want to do at our new 'home' :-6

Take care Helen, and I hope you soon get on to the internet cos you'll be very much missed ! XXX

didnt realize you were around lol

if the beach hut goes for anything like the ones in dorset do, you could be sitting on a small fortune !!! they go for as much as a house !! good luck with it all anyway.

think all im going to do tomorrow is put me bed up and find the box i put me spare tobbacco in :rolleyes:

ive got a clean set of clothes in a carrier bag and im puttin me kettle tea ect in another one and im set then arnt i :wah:

Thanks for that Ducky ! I'll also say thanks from Helen, as by now she will probably be in her new flat, and she won't be able to get on the internet till she gets a landline -- whenever that may be ! I sure am gonna miss her !

Yes it is a bit exciting ! For me, I shall have to wait a while yet, although we now have our 'new home', we've still got loads to do here. We're popping over to our new home for a few days tomorrow (Friday), to do some sorting out and taking some things over. Also Chris and Andy will be sorting out and doing any needed repairs etc to our beach hut, which is up for sale (to pay for our 'new' home !). It still surprises me that beach huts these days cost nearly as much as a flippin house ffs !!! Still I'm not complaining LOL, at least the money we should get for our beach hut will compensate us for all the wonderful holidays we have had for over 30 years and the parting with our lovely beach hut. :-1 :-6

School 'field trip' onto the beach where we have our beach hut in Norfolk. How nice for these kids, being able to have such 'field trips' ! They were later very busy looking for sea shells :-6

Those pics are gorgeous. We used to take our 12 yr. olds on field trips to a natural reserve beach the next town over from me. We'd have a ball looking for shells and aquatic animals.:-6

I love the Irish and UK beaches....so different from ours. You seem to have a lot of lovely tide pools that we don't have in Noo Joisey, but I found them in the Carolinas:-6 I love walking through them:-6

This is a picture of the strand in Bunbeg, Donegal Ireland....my fav place in the world. When we were young, we rented a caravan and placed it on the beach. There were 9 of us who stayed in the caravan. What wonderful memories:-4

Thanks for that Carol ! I expect I will be back properly, cos as you say, I can't find it in my heart to leave a site that I have had so much fun on and made so many friends. I've no idea how long I shall be 'away' though. The problem is I shall have to disappear, and probably quite suddenly - not my choice. Also, I shall probably have to ditch my current site name. That will probably mean that I shall have to start from scratch........ah well, that's life ! :rolleyes:
