Oh good. After we get your veggies planted we can cook too. It is the eating part I am looking forward too. :D You seem to be a great cook from what I have read. I'll do up the dishes after. Is it a deal?

This means the three dogs have to go into the yard and kept out of the house. I'm in no doubt that they would never hurt baby but we wouldn't take the chance especially with the puppy who tries to put her tongue in people's mouths. The are sooooo going to hate me and they will bark non-stop which means i will have the whinging moaning neighbour round complaining at some point. If he does, i'll just remind him of the industrial fireworks he let off on xmas day that shattered every one's peace :-5

:wah:I'm back & finally rested after 2 days of jet lag. Where do I start on trip...fun was #1...settled in Letterfrack (Co. Galway) for a few days...way off our radar as we aren't campers or hikers (my thighs say different:wah:), loads of walking, touring castles, etc. but they did have some nice restaurants...steak with that yummo garlic sauce.

Shopping in Galway...what a blast...the place was alive. Stinks though that the stores close down at 8:30pm...went to an excellent restaurant...and walked out into what felt like South Street in Philly (loads of young peeps, bars, etc....if I was 20 yrs younger I would have felt at home:wah:. My daughter who is 19 loved it...party central is Galway on a weekend.

Wasn't impressed with Cork, but Kerry was loads of fun....shopping again. More castles to see, hubs & son kissed the Blarney Stone...yuck said us girls & Quin.:wah: Very surprised that hubs kissed it...he's afraid of heights:wah:.

Checked out Aran Islands & Cliffs of Moher...fasinating to say the least. We lucked out with the Cliffs of Moher as it was really foggy & then it lifted...took loads of pix...

I would have to say my favorite location in Ireland was County Galway with almost a tie to Co. Kerry. Two fun counties.

We were going to go to Northern Ireland, but in the end cancelled that out as we would have to trade our euros for pounds, etc. APITA...and weren't sure if the troubles were still in effect...I don't think they are, but being American didn't really appeal.

All in all, Ireland is a beautiful country, the peeps were very friendly and helpful. Got loads of tips, etc. on where to go, etc. I miss it already. Would love to go back next year and do the Eastern part of Ireland...Dublin, etc.:-4

Hubs found his grandparents house's in Terwin (Donegal)...he was happy. His mums family is from there and came over to the US in the 1920's. His grandmom came from England...she had gone away from Irealnd at age 12 to become an indentured servent in England & his grandfather came over and worked for the Pennsylvania railroad & they met up...the rest is history.

I looked in the phone book for my maiden name & was surprised to see listings of it...the wierd thing is my name sounds and looks french but is really a different form/spelling than Muholland/Mullarkey, etc. My brother is sending the book from Maine to me to read about it. that should shivers down my hubs back, lol

I like them runny...dip your toast in them.:wah: yolk on toast dripping down your chin.:-4 It was a trip to not forget about...talking Italy next year.

Hello all my friends...I was talking to Ke this afternoon:wah::-4. I bought loads of postcards and will tell you folks on my list of destinations...I'm mailing them out from the US...I know I might come off as the ultimate cheapskate....but the postage was unbelievable! You might think that 82 pents is cheap, but really it's like $2.00 bucks to send a postie. Everything is extremely expensive over there. And damn it, I didn't even get a ring...from 25 e to 82 euros from all the shops I looked for.

Yes it is a lot more expensive here, although im not in Ireland im in England:wah: but its more or less the same i think. And also the Euro is practically one pound to the Euro now so its pretty crap:rolleyes:
