The future
Here's another topic that I think could be interesting to discuss. Where do you see yourself in a years time, or how about 5 or even 10 years. Also do you have any remaining goals or achievments that you would like to achieve during that time?
Personally I am really hoping to travel around the world in the next 10 years or so, and be able to see as many of the beautiful sights that grace our lands. After visiting Vegas and seeing the Grand Canyon it made me realise how much more there is out there to see and experience.

I want to learn to surf, and to move back to my home in Los Angeles. That might take 4-5 years to do.
For something great, to go on an archaeological dig somewhere! Something to do with Native Americans, of course!
If I could take a trip anywhere, I would want to go to Greece. I have always wanted to see the sites there, and the beautiful islands.
An idealistic goal: for my husband to be well again and be able to talk with me rationally.

The future ah yes, if we only knew what it was to be. Most of us know what we would like it to be, but. . . . .
Anyway, in five years from now, I would just like to still be as happy as I am today!

Out of debt! I borrowed 400 thousand dollars to buy my business. I hope to sell one office and reduce to three or four days a week. I'd like to get a smaller, cheaper house farther out in the country. (I'd say in the mountains- but the fire hazard there is high). Just hunker down for all the troubles that are a'comin. No, I'm not a survivalist.
What? you think 9-11, Tsunami and Katrina are the end of this? Ha. Fasten your seat belts, ladies and gentlemen- we're in for a rough ride.

Look what the cat dragged in.

to be in England with Bothwell and operating a little historical-books shop. taking walks in the country together, and having a sense of peace and serenity. not having to ever deal with criminals again.
The future
Me, I would like to move to the country in an old fixer upper and do nothing but paint and run my own little craft shop. Have a few little sheeps, and chickens and stay away from the things of man.

That sounds beautiful!
You'll have to let us know if you open that bookshop! I'll visit!
There used to be a wonderful Olde Booke Shoppe in Salisbury, by the Cathedral, but sadly its closed down now. Such a shame!

Real World: -
To be retired in 14 months time and to take up a new job ...something totally different to making Loudspeakers.... something to do with gardens / horticulture
To be enjoying time with my new grandchild who will be 1 year old by then.
To be happier than I am now (domestic probs)
Dream land :-
To win the Lotto and buy a property in the country....small house ...manageable amount of land with a little wood and a stream.
To give my kids enough money to buy a decent home and get on with their lives
To spend loads of time with granchildren

We haven't decided yet. Lots of research to do regarding jobs, cost of living, etc.
