Anyone besides myself, talk to themselves?

Post by hoppy »

I only do it when I'm alone. Honest. I pray I never get as bad as Teddy, a guy living on a floor below mine. The other day, I got on the elevator. No one in the car but Teddy and me. Teddy said " I wonder if it will rain tomorrow". I answered that it was supposed to start raining tonight I thought. Teddy says, "I wasen't talking to you. I was talking to him". I got off on the next floor, even though it wasen't mine.:-3

I do, I do it mostly when I have to remember something... I find it easier to repeat it out loud then it sticks with me. I have done this also when I play memory games on my wii.

Atleast when you talk to yourself, you know somebody is listening. YOU. ;)

Sorry but were you talking to me or yourself there? Only it'd be rude to butt in between you.

Yes, usually in my car cursing out all the drivers around me who tailgate....I don't give the finger anymore after the last time..

I also do a lot of ranting around my home when someone parks in or across my driveway.

I occasionaly talk to myself there is nothing wrong with it as long as no one can hear you! It can be a bit strange otherwise....I came across one guy once who was schizophrenic and he was having this huge conversation with himself mentioning Ben and one minute saying that some serial killers where geniuses then the next saying what buggers they were! He stunk of B.O too! Then there was a time when i was in a Nightclub when this guy was talking in a really loud voice to himself then walking around the dancefloor pretending to drum!! He also had mental health problems.

I often talk to myself when upset about something. It used to be, when people talked to themselves, it meant something was wrong with them. Not so much anymore. I do get a giggle out of people who have those ear phones especially in the grocery store. People talking all over the place and there isn't a soul with them. Maybe I should get a fake ear phone and then when I talk to myself, no one will know that I am a bit bats. :yh_rotfl

True story. I had a customer sit there once and argue with the empty barstool next to him. He's arguing with an invisible person and I thought I was the one going crazy.:wah:
