The only other one that works that well for me is pulling weeds. Yank them buggers right out and all my frustrations seem to slip away... Honest, it really does help. And you get something useful done while you're at it.

Obviously I have crap insurance if I need to resort to cowshit and weeds :yh_rotfl

to funny, but I do believe it is therapeutic.....but what about the smell?

I pull my weeds just after its rained........no hard digging then.

This is so dumb... we only have one cow so it's not bad, but we have 5 donkeys and their manure is almost sweet smelling. Well, kinda. But not sour. So it's not too bad. And if one happens to, um, you know, while you are in the barn, it clears your sinuses really well!!!

Now put me in a pig barn and I'm running for the door... chickens too, holey moley does that make my head hurt... it is sooo strong.

My little gang is not too bad... :)

the smell doesn't bother you because your used to it, poor lonely cow needs a friend though..............

I love donkeys to, there so cute, yes, you have a pretty cool gang!

Good grief! All these Northerners from up North! :-3

Welcome FG to FG! :wah:

I'm from the SOUTHERN end of a lil island off the SOUTH coast of England. :D

We're surrounded by water and yet we have to import it! How mad is that?

(Too much local in-breeding! :wah: )

My OH comes from London and I lived there for ten years. Which part is your mum from? :-6

Good Morning Tracy 829

Paul Bunyan was big enough to cover MI and MN! :wah:

I'm not really sure which part of London, Rapunzel.

I should write this stuff down when Mom tells me these stories.

Her last address was on Rochester Ave. Upton Park. If I'm remembering correctly.

You're living on a little island!

Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink!

Do you like it there?

Your island sounds wonderful!

I've been to southern England and I remember there was Palm Trees there.

Do you have them on your island? Love to hear more about where you live.

There are palm trees on the southern part of the island. We have a microclimate there because the area is hemmed in and protected by cliffs, so the weather there is like the south of France - beautiful! There are also huge botanical gardens which take advantage of the microclimate and so unusual hothouse plants can be grown outdoors, which shouldn't be able to grow in our country at all. :-6

It sounds like Paradise!!

Your island sounds like a great spot for a vacation or a wedding!

We had a hard frost this a.m.

Spring is s-l-o-w-l-y settling in here.

There was snow an hour north of us yesterday. :(

I'll have to mention these places to my Mom.

Mom lived in other places, too, Upton Park being the last in England.

My Aunt and Uncle lived in Somerset [Chapel Cleeve, Blue Anchor]

The Land of Windmills and Tulips!

How do you like it there?

It's sounds so nice!

Good Morning from da Nort Country!

It's so nice that you and Tom are so comfortable with one another!

The rides sounds like so much fun!

Glad you had a nice Anniversary Weekend! :yh_dance

It's been raining for 2 days now.

I thought I read somewhere that skunks don't come out in the rain. One ran across the driveway in front of me just as I was pulling into the yard last night from work...

They tear up our yard so bad looking for grub worms. It looks like bikermamas group came in here and started bahaing on the lawn with their bikes! :-3

Have a Good Day All!

:-4

I'm so happy to see you stop in and have a look-see! Lots of real nice folks here. I'm still trying to figure stuff out, trying hard not to mix up names and where folks are from, and you know, making typos from H@ll :yh_rotfl

I'm glad you came. I didn't know it was your anniversary....

Happy Anniversary to you and Tom... I wish you many, many more :-4

(Hey Frug, looks like we got the band back together (again), lol)

I'm glad.
