The groundhog always sees his shadow. How can he not with all those TV camers on him?

Phil is cute but he does lie. What does he know anyway. He lives in a hole most of the time and never reads or watches the news.

If this is summer, Im a smirf.

Gracie is being strange again

She bit the vacuum today. Hasn't done that in ages. She left teeth marks in the aluminum... strange dog... love her anyway.

But she is murder on vacuum cleaners. :p

Off to poke around, can't sleep again.

Nighters.

Good Morning!

((((Gracie))))

Maybe she's frustrated from all that rain and now all those mosquitoes?

Wego hasn't been himself lately.

First he can't go out because it's too icy or cold now the bugs chase him back in!

Poor little fur babies!

Hope the Wings put on a worthy game for Dan!!

re: the Phil Club :)

I wonder when they very first got the idea of the Groundhogs' shadow determining the end of winter?

:yh_coffee Good Morning! :)

Hoping Gracie is feeling better.

Poor little girl.

Wego says Hi and thanks for the scratch! ;)

 No! Don't leave this thread, Val!

You're the life of the party!:guitarist

Been outside weeding.

Couldn't get out there for a number of days due to the rain and the weeds growth really accelerated! Taller than the plants!

I miss playin around in the flower beds.

Good Therapy!

Fresh air, sounds of nature, etc.

Came in for a little break.

It's starting to get totally overcast.

Going back out now to do some more weeding, then it's off to work I go!

Enjoy Your Day, Folks!

Looks like our buds went MIA. Probably busy doing outside stuff. :)

Planted a bunch of flowers last night. Hopefully some of them will survive. Pulled a ton of weeds. They were so tall you couldn't see the solar lights at night. :wah:

Give Wego a scratch from your downstate bud. :)

They are all worried and are working every hour they can. Even Dan's friend with MS is working every hour they offer because they don't know when it will end, and for how long.

Many of them will not be called back once the end comes.

I feel so bad for those fellas, almost all are younger with families.

Fingers crossed for them all.

For all the GM folks.
Good Morning!

Been feeling a little under the weather lately.

I think/hope I'm going to have a better day today.

Missed being here.

Wondering about Gracie.

Hoping Dan will survive this.

These are horrible scarey times indeed in every way.

On the positive note, we are having a Beautiful Day here weather wise. It's actually perfect outdoors...... so what am I doing indoors.....

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi.

It's a work day for me so I have to run.

Enjoy your Day, Folks!!

valentine;1197986 wrote: Hi Frug, how's everything in da nort country?

Tired today, been a long night.

We are waiting to see what GM's future is going to do to Dan's job. Gosh I hope that plant can survive. So many people are going to lose their jobs down there even if GM get's their act together. Dan has a 50/50 chance of making it, they won't know for a while yet. They are still working but will be told by Wednesday if they will be shutting down for the interim. From there, hard to say. His job is production related but with sales so down... they don't know if a second shift will be needed and if that is the case, he will be replaced. He does not have the seniority to be pushed onto first shift.

The world, it is a changin'. Kind of scary. For a lot of people.

Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for all of you...it is a touch situation.
