Why is it??

Why when something is lost and youve searched and searched but eventually given up and bought a new 'whatever' the old one turns up??

I lost my dog's (Oscar) comb a week ago I searched all over had the cupboard out, nothing.. Looked in all the stupid places ie in the kitchen among the tea towels, in the garage, the bathroom ect but admitted defeat yesterday when someone said he looked fat.

Its not fat its just hair..

So this morning on my way to the dentist I bought a new comb, they didnt have the one I wanted so I got a different make but I was desperate..

The new comb is crap.

Then just as I was putting it away in the basket reserved for doggy stuff I saw something shiny on the floor and lo and behold there is Oscars comb!

Im so glad I found it but P..off that I already bought a new one which cant go back now Ive used it.. not really..

Oh well good news is Oscar is now trim and neat and I didnt need any fillings! Hooray:wah:

Happy things are working out for you. My problem is not losing things but when I wear out something I really liked and try to buy a new one, I find it's no longer made. An old uncle once said when he finds smaller items or clothing he likes he tries to buy as many as he thinks he will need because when the first wears out, they will no longer be in production.

Aw I hope this happens do my daughter.

Yesterday she put her wallet up on her car roof then drove away forgetting it there. Yep lost it. The kicker is she had her rent money in the walled $1000 cash.... I feel awful for her for loosing all that cash.

Ouch. Double ouch...That has got to hurt.

A lady called yesterday comma the diamond fell out of her ring. I hope someone honest finds it. Im afraid the temptation of a $1000 might be too much for some but maybe a saint will call.

Seriously though, the solution is to pray to Saint Anthony. He's never let me down yet. He's found all sorts of things I need in all sorts of wacky and unexpected places. Personally I think he gets bored as not many people appeal to him. Sounds nuts? Maybe it is. :wah: But he always finds things for me.
