I've spent way too long re-reading all this. I don't care about a silly behind the scenes catfight that got a couple of girls on the naughty chair. The naughty chair!!!

The Titanic image is great. Kathy Ellen I assumed they were but that is a fair question and I will look into it and get back to you. Your correct they get notified of infraction so I assumed they would get notified of bans as well. But you know what they say about assuming.

Kathy yes they were notified that they were getting a week break from the "Garden," and why they were getting a break. If that wasn't clear then not being able to login should have been the next clue.

Hey mods, I just want to say, all the silliness of yesterday aside, after the stress on FG of late... I am glad you gave the members a weeks ban/warning and not a life time ban. As you can see the members in question are missed and have friends here who stand up for them, but you made your point and I hope our gals come back and can carry on with us and enjoy FG again.

Mods I don't envy any of you because not only are you good friends to many of us here you still have to ... Mod.

I can only speak for me, but am sure others will agree, I sincerely respect all of you and the job you have to do and despite acting like Jimbo sometimes I still call many of you my friends.

Good post. A mod's gotta do what a mod's gotta do. They have done a wonderful job with me seeing as I have a clean slate with no strikes not even a slap on the wrist as of yet. I wonder can Jimbo say the same?:D

Aw thanks for that Minksy. Yes it is a difficult job, but we try to be fair and there is always a discussion in the mod. room whenever a member sends in a 'report'. Any complaints that do come in about another member are always discussed fully with as many mods. who are online at the time, as possible. If the 'report' is rather involved, then it is discussed over several days so that we can get as much input as possible before any decision is made, in order to get a fair balance to make any judgement.

But, first and foremost, all the moderators are members just like yourselves. Of course moderators, being members, are subject to the same rules and regs. within the Forum Garden, as every member is.

Well if shes fine and going to Ireland then a punitive sentence should be applied so that she suffers. I think its important for her to really feel some personal anguish.

You could always put them on the table where we have our steak dinners, with baked potatoes and salad each week. You could put them on top of the fridge where TS keeps our champagne, wine, and beer chilled.

I can tell you what is going on here.

1. One person had to take a break because all the insults and snide remarks were to upsetting and were causing undue stress.

2. Three people were banned because they spoke their minds and defended themselves.

3. there is no freedom of speach because we are are being watched like we are children and can't play according to the rules. Rules which are bent every which way in order to fit whatever crime we supposedly committed

4. Two people left because they felt that their concerns were being swept under the rug and ignored.

5. Seems that you can't trust anyone anymore as they aren't who they say they are.

6. I know this all will probably be deleted but I hope someone reads it before it is.

7. I am taking a break as well. It just isn't friendly here anymore.

As I stated before and will state again if you think the grass is greener on the other side go for it. We do the best we can to please everyone sorry sometimes that just isn't possible when parties continue to carry on regardless of warnings.

I don't have time to be anyone's big brother, or sister we act on posts that are reported to us. Now and again we spot spammers or offensive post and take action as needed.

I can't say that I agree. Of course, who am I to say anything. I have seen so many posts that should have been reported but weren't, and a large number of offensive ones as well. You are not the only Mod here. If the rules are to be followed why aren't all of the posts being reviewed?

Because we are not here to clean up after the kids, we are here to deal with spam and reported posts by those such a post is directed at, not someone deciding to report for reporting sakes.
