MP's expenses, more, more, more....

Post by Bill Sikes »

Kitty Ussher resigns from Government over £17,000 tax dodge.

In the Telegraph tonight.

"Telegraph.co.uk can disclose that Miss Ussher told the tax authorities that her Burnley home was her “principal residence for a single month in 2007, enabling her to avoid capital gains tax.

According to a letter from her accountants, Miss Ussher had previously told HM Revenue & Customs that a house in south London was her principal residence.

The minister resigned tonight after she was confronted with the allegations by The Daily Telegraph. She also announced she would stand down as an MP at the next election. "

We're in danger of becoming overwhelmed, fatigued, and blunted by this lot, for every day another wrongness is exposed. Still - "Keep On", exposers of such wrongness, and "Get out!" the miscreants.

I agree with Anne Widdicombe in her address last night for prospective speaker of the HOC..... when she said, pay MP's more and scrap expenses.

Don't worry, alasdair darling says we don't need to bother regulating the banks just ask them to be more careful in future, so that's ok then.

It's like watching lemmings jostling for position at the edge of the cliff.
