Cécile Brossard could be free as early as late next year

Cécile Brossard had faced a sentence of up to 20 years for the cowardly slaying of Edouard Stern, a powerful French banker, during an S&M scene in which he was bound. However, sans the four years she's already spent behind bars, she could be free as early as next year. Not only is she out the million dollars "promised" to her by the late Stern, but nobody in their right mind is going to participate in bondage scenes with her ever again. Perhaps the old man pushed her too far, but... didn't they at least have a "safe word" to keep things from going that far?
