It was ODD..... Obsessive Denial Disorder. I googled it and found a book on it in America. FFS !!!!! ODD !!!! This must account for the Bristolian teenagers who walk round saying 'oh shut up cos it wern't me or nuffin or summat'.

I agree with you that the woman needs some help with parenting skills. It's very easy to ignore the victems of little shytes like this. I'd frankly like to see him breaking roacks in a quarry for a few weeks. Wouldn't be so funny to him then. :-5

For what it's worth, it's why my sis and i have fallen out big time as she is similar to the woman in the article..... excuses excuses excuses.

I live next door to a primary school and in all the years i have been here, we have never had any problems with any of the kids except one. He record is similar to the lad in the article. Try telling my elderly neighbours when their much treasured garden has been vandalised by him that he's not a horrible little shyte.

prison?

Poor kid to have such a dreaded disease and his mom has tried so hard, hoping she will get the help he needs:

Typical treatments of ODD include psychotherapy, anger management and social skills training.

Medication may also be used to help control extreme behavior.

Parents are also encouraged to behave in a 'positive' way and give the child praise when cooperation is shown.
Life is just to short for drama.

It is not a disease Odie.... it is a disorder.
