hello to all

Post by DadinIowa »

my son Wolverine said i should look this place up. to hear him talk about it, i might not want to leave. i am not a very good typer. hunt n peck with 2 fingers. so bare with me.

i am a retired Farmer and John Deere foreman. me an the wife travel as much as i am able to. go on alot of bus trips set up by our local bank.

Before teh heart attack, you couldn't get me out of Guthrie County. Now i want to see as much as i can.

give me a few days to get up to speed on everyone. i really enjoy a good joke, especially at the boy's expense. HA!

oh, he said to watch out for Floppy. I'm not sure who that is, but i am sure i will find out.

ok, bye

thankyou.

just crops. almost 2000 acres. me n my dad then me n the boy. lots of corn and soy beans.

i still own the ground, but i rent it out to one of the neighbors. he's been a hired hand for me for almost 15 years so i trust him enough to run things.

Hello, and welcome! Man, I feel like an orphan...everybody here seems to be related to one another, or neighbors, etc. Well, I'm up for adoption if anyone cares. I don't eat too much, but I do love ice cream. I'll sleep on the couch.

you don't need to stay on the couch. I have an RV in the back yard. you can use it when me n the wife are home. when we go on a trip you can use the house. Just don't tell the boy. HA

Haha, from what I can gather, if you are over 40 here, you are a "senior" (not old).

I can tell already that you will at least "keep up".

Greetings Dadin, Can't call ya dad, cause I too fall in the over 40 group. Nice to see family come in to FG on a reccomendation. Hope you enjoy yourself here, and as far as hunt and peck typing, none of us will ever notice.

Have fun.

Cheers
