Looking forward to lots of sun and fun for the fourth? :sneaky:
Well sorry luvvies...but I'm about to rain on your parade. :wah:
Get the sick buckets ready. :yh_rotfl
So anyway, on Wednesday we had our school sports day. I had a bottle of factor 35 suncream with me, seeing as how I burn easily and turn LOBSTER RED.
Yup, I got so caught up in cheering the children on and lining them up to start their races and yelling at them to move when they forgot to run (:-5 !) that I never actually got around to putting any suncream on! :-5
That night I started to get redder and redder....
I slapped a vat-full of aftersun cream on to stop it stinging...
but the next day I just turned redder and redder and even redder.... until I was a very deep dark RED.
People were complaining that I was giving off so much heat I was making the staffroom too hot and they banished me from it! :-5 :wah:
Then one nice teacher suggested I use Aloe Vera. She promised me it would sooth the skin and take away any stinging.
So I bought a bottle. It's BRIGHT GREEN.
I keep using it on my sunburn but found it dries out really quickly and makes my skin itchy but when I scratch it the gel forms into little troll boogies that stick to my fingers and won't come off! I've tried shaking my hands and some flew off and stuck to FG (on my monitor) and some flew to the floor, so I have troll boogies on my feet now too!
So if you find you're meandering through the garden (at FG) and you find a bunch of sticky green troll boogies stuck to your feet.....well then it's your own fault cos you should have been wearing shoes! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl
