Nomad The Conquerer

Post by Nomad »

Nomad had a business meeting with a very well connected attorney today. It went well. We chit chatted for almost an hour. Nomad isnt much of a social animal but hes pretty good when hes one on one, he recognizes his strengths and weaknesses. His strength is in his sincerity and genuineness. His weaknesses I think were all aware of so theres no point in dwelling on them. Nomad would be pleased if he recieved more praise than insults for his tenacity and determination.

Thank you,

Nomad

Debatable enigma's are riddling. Would you care to offer more diatribe?

This connected attorney??? What exactly was he connected to and did his wife know about it?

His wife is dead.

The point is Nomad got his foot in the door.

A good door.

Nomad would like an atta boy even if its smudged with ridicule and venom.

Adults rarely get praised. It's part of being a grown-up.

I like your siggy pic. It looks like Mother Willow, the tree in Disney's Pocahontas. :-6

What did his wife die of? Was she loosley connected to him?

How do i know it's a good door. I haven't seen it. I just have your word that it's a good door. I mean, it could be a really bad door but it fooled you. How am i to know? You could know that it's a bad door but just telling me it's a good door to stop it feeling inferior.

You can't have an atta boy. They are far too dangerous even when smudged with ridicule and venom. In the wrong hands an atta boy could be lethal. Next there will be gangs of them roaming the streets killing innocent murderers.

I've always thought of you as a conquering hero. I knew you could do it! I knew you had it in you, inspite of what others said about you. In spite of your self-doubt. Didn't I always tell you you would succeed? Didn't I say, "If you can keep your head when . . ." wrong quote. Anyway, Congratulations! Good job! You're marvelous, just too marvelous for words.

(You didn't wear those little white shoes to the meeting, did you?)

Good stuff Nomie, the more you have like that the better. Especially if he's a litigious bastard.

You have to have been wearing a suit for this - come on, we ought to get a pic of you in it into the thread before you're finished with it.

Well there are an awful lot of idiots out there let me tell you !

I just sent out my 1st invoice.

To an attorney.

Who gets to do that ?

The cherry on top was I served 2 used car dealers.

I looked online to see what types of cars they sold.

I called ahead and asked for the defendant and told him Id be in to look at a BMW.

After serving him as I was leaving he said he hoped I get into a car crash. :D:-6

Good job Nomad.

I think that's Glenn Fabry's artwork out of 2000 AD. There were quite a few artists on the various Slaine episodes, most of them well worth the attention. Great storylines too.
