A good venue for a Grad party?
I am going to be graduating from an AMAZING cathedral in May 2011. A mere year and a bit away.
My parents are flying over for said event.
I was wondering, since I was going to invite all my chums from here, where would be a fantastic place for the grad party? Any suggestions?

You'd better make sure it's before May 14th 2011, that's the current date of the Second Coming according to the Millennialists. Being in a cathedral around then sounds like it might be playing your cards right though.
May's optimistically early for an outdoor picnicky afternoon unless it's in a pub garden. Where's the easiest part of the world for you to get us to? Is Southend pier likely to be open and do they allow barbecues?

Ditto, I graduate that year as well, although in my mind it's two years away :wah:

We should arrange entertainments for the afternoon. I'd quite like to volunteer as the Comedy Spot.
What do you mean, audition...
*clears throat*First man: I say I say I say, my mother's gone to the West Indies.
Second man: Casablanca?
First man: No, she went by boat.

Raven..... for a large sum of money, you can book The Stranglers. We promise not to repeat any past performances of rioting, chair throwing, spitting and the band being arrested.
