The kids at school are always being told to look up words they can't spell in the dictionary and they always say.....how can we look it up if we don't know how to spell it?? :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

On the same subject...did you know that the pocket oxford dictionary people (to keep the dictionary pocket-sized) are going to have to take some words out of their next edition? I've heard that one of the words they're taking out is 'gullible'. Not sure about the rest.

I was given a copy of the Pocket Oxford Dictionary when I started senior school in 1966. There are a lot of words missing from that edition as well. And believe me, you need a BIG pocket to put it in. Blazer pockets just aren't up to it. Fortunately, it survived the fire. Though it's slightly warped from the water from the fire hose.
