Post by Bez »

There has been lots of happy positive stuff posted today...a breath of fresh air after all the traumas of the last 10 days....I've really had a good time in the garden tonight. I've started this thread so that ONLY HAPPY experiences and FUN stuff can be posted so that we can all sit, have a laugh and regain our faith in the human race....No part poopers please.!!

Japanese garden sounds cool..............

Kids at school were tired from the weekend, made for an easy day.

Got asked to write another article on Native American law, that was a surprise!

ok, so the Boy has me some what hooked on Chai tea now. was on MT Dew for years. never liked coffee. smells funny and tastes worse.

i get up in the morning start the cappachino thing to heat up the milk fot the Chai.

I pour two cups cuz i don't want to get up and get a refill. i'm retired and don't have to work any harder than i have to.

So i get the paper, trip over the cat(like always), and get my Chai. pretty good stuff.

sit down on the couch and start looking over the parer. Moses, big black 16lb cat, comes in and is playing "hockey" with something. it's a giant Cricket. that has seen better days. moses is have a blast. batting the thing all over the floors.

i think, hey the wife can get it and throw it away. Im reading and comfy.

that damn cat gets so riled up he starts picking it up and throwing it around.

Giant cricket goes flying in the air and PLUNK right in my 2nd cup of Chai.

Aaaaahh!! i get up and throw it out the back door. wash out the cup with bleach and still can't drink any tea. start to gag.

Wife comes down pours a cup (in the cricket mug) takes a drink and asks if i had any. it tastes different today.

I ran to the living choking and laughing. i finall ycalmed down to tell her what happened and she gave that look. Took a big gulp and said yum, protein.

I lost it. i didn't know if i should laugh or puke. i haven't had a cup all day. i might have one tomorrow, i don't know yet.

Gosh Pops, that was funny-protein! That was as bad as a lady at church a week ago was talking to me outside, and a bug flew in her mouth! I almost died laughing, she thought it was funny too-don't know what the pastor thought!

Just got up, drinking a cup of coffee and reading your posts here in happy land first. All this happiness has set the tone for the day....and it's going to be a HAPPY one. I am going out for the day...probably visit a garden or national trust place.

The sun is shining, the forecast is good.

You guys have the best of days....will be thinking of you and Bothwell LC.(so jealous)

DadinIowa...be careful what you drink today...

Nvallyvee...great news for BTS

Susie a new home...how exciting.....go for the japanese garden...so relaxing.

ACC...another challenging day today...take care...be safe...don't forget the daily bulletin.

I have had a brilliant day today. Went to a National trust property called Nymans Garden. Spent 4 hours there amongst the formal and natural gardens....when you see the attached piccies you'll see why I enjoyed the day so much. Not sure where I'm going tomorrow, but i need to make the most of this last week of my annual holidays.

Beautiful pix Bez, I wish I knew how to post pix, I've tried several times but have been unsucessfull every time. It tells me pix size too large. I tried to shrink them but could not. Anyway, great pix, please do post more as they become available!

If they come from files on my own computer I upload them using the 'attach files' function in the 'Additional options' at the bottom of the page as you scroll down.

If I 'pinch' them from web pages I 'copy' and 'paste' (right click on mouse)

I've had the same problems with file sizes. When you upload, it tells you what size files you are allowed so check the size of your file before you try. I don't know wether jpeg or bitmap files vary in size. it's trial and error..and I had lots of disasters....don't give up...I'm sure you've got some great pics to post.

Now I've found her she'll be with me whenever I drive more than 4 miles from home...wouldn't be without her.

By the way....WHAT IS that gyrating, demented red creature in your last post ... any friend of this chap ?

He is soooo cute. I wish I had 1 of those when I was a kid. Little Elmo was my guide through the world of learning my abc's and 123's. He will be fondly remembered.
