I hate going to the Doctor's . . . .

But I do go for my complete yearly physical! I know people that run to the Doc's for every little thing. The Doc's like it, as they make $$$$ for every visit!

So do you hate going to the Doctor? Or in between yearly visits, do you wait like me, untill things start falling off?

I'm the same as you. I wait until i'm mouldy before i go. Same with Mr O. I think with me, it's the way i was brought up in that the family Doctor was highly respected and you didn't waste his time. I very recently changed my Doctor. My old one was lovingly refered to in the village as 'Dr Death'. I remember once when i had injured my arm, he asked me if my arm hurt when i raised it into the air. When i said 'yes, it does', he replied 'well don't do it then'.

One night when Mr O had to have an ambulance out, the paramedics asked him on route who his Doctor was and when he told them, they fell about laughting. They said they loved going to his call outs as usually the patient was dead by the time they got there and they could go for a cup of tea and do no work.

I kid you not.

Hate going, went last year the doc told me I hadn't been for 13 years. Turned 50 this year and going for physical on the 31st. One reason I hate going is I'm afraid they will find something wrong. If you dont go they can't find anything wrong with me.

I go when I have to.

When I go the doctor knows that there's good cause and I've never had to book an appointment yet.

My last doc retired because of illness and two before him died, so whatinell do docs know?

We have our current Doc for the last 7 years, cause the one before that died at the age of 57! :wah:

Come to think about it, I believe our current Doc is around 57! So . . . Hope we won't be in store for another Doc soon!
