Oscar and Odie--we're back and we're bad......LOL!

It's a very difficult situation. Half me wants to see him because he's my nephew and i love him but the other half is something else.

It's difficult with the baby also. It's something the family has discussed in depth. What if his baby grows up and then resents his mother for keeping him from knowing who his dad was? What if he finds out about his dad when he's much older? The shock could be unbearable. There is no doubt that the first thing my nephew will go looking for when everything is alright, is his son. There are family liason officers in the prison who are very good at this sort of thing to advise and help.

but its not good for a child to see his dad in jail.

and he will be in there for quite some time.

you must focus on what he actually did to another human being. Yes, it's very difficult. We have to try to imagine what his son will want for the future. The family liason at the prison heartedly encourage contact. Other wise dad will come out a complete stranger to his son. To be honest, i'm just pleased that the ultimate decision is down to the mother of the baby. We just support her in what she thinks is right. If she decides to end contact then we will support her with that also.

Just off to feed foxes.

I had baby guppies, but only 4, as the others were already eaten......these babies didn't survive......as I had multiple problems in the tank.

I got my Bamboo plants today, they are just lush. Now i have to research how to care for them properly. I have never had Bamboo before although i don't think my bro does anything special with his.

We got up early to rain again but it did clear later in the day. I may not post much tonight as i'm exhausted after shopping all day :wah:

We are definately going to see the Gorilla's tomorrow and will be at the enclosure around 3 pm in the afternoon.

Pete has spent time today spraying every inch of the car. After bringing home the bamboo that i noticed came from South America, he found a very strange looking small spider in the car unlike anything British that he's seen. It didn't bother me but he's convinced it's something nasty come in with the bamboo and is taking no chances :wah:

I had a twinge of sympathy for him as you know how it is? When they first go in prison, everyone visits and then they tail off. We have to remember he is still a child although he's in a very adult world right now. I can not go into details due to Sub Judice law pending his trial but forensics have turned up something that shows a new angle involving the Co-defendants. All we can do is give him the benifit of the doubt until his trial by jury and a verdict is reached. He was asking for comics today. At least there is one thing..... he's not blaming his friends or crying 'mistaken identity'. He accepts his part and has been totally honest with the police.
