Guys, whats your opinion of old women with tattoos, only i saw a rather elderly lady with one the other day on her shoulder. I was trying to work out how old she was, thought maybe she could have been an old biker chick.

I think they look lovely on young women but nots so hot on older women.

I have a tat on my ass. I don't have to look at it often, but it is a nice barometer of whether or not I need to get to the gym..:wah:

and , yeah.... not a young woman...:p

The young woman with a tattoo will eventually become an old woman with a tattoo. Breasts look better on a young woman than on an older woman. It's not the tattoo, it's the aging.

Yeah thats a great place to have it.

I will have to have one when i get older, perhaps i will have one.

But i dont like them on the arms or hands. I often get invited to black tie events and tattoos on show wearing a posh frock, just look rough.

I think breasts would look better on older women if we could just quit getting them stuck in our pants pockets..

I have a friend whose back is one big tattoo. She's older than me, and I'm in my mid 40s. IMO she's incredibly attractive...

It's her own design. Basically a Staff of Asklepios going up her spine with two winged serpents wrapped round it and their heads on her shoulderblades. Actually, it's her I find sexy. Tattoo is very good, but irrelevant in terms of attraction.

I don't like the shoulder ones when ladies wear sun dresses.. it just always seems to clash. all the kids seems to be getting the anklet tats lately over here it seems.

I've seen some lovely shoulder one's such as butterflys and dolphins. no, mine is horrible but then everyone who knows me, knows it's there and it doesn't offend them. It could be worse........ it could have been Micheal jackson instead of Jagger. :wah:

What may be offensive to one person may not be to another. Perhaps they have parts of their body that others are put off by. Even the tramp in the street could have an honours degree. We never know do we? It is very shallow to base a person on looks alone. Then look at our politicians in their best suits and immaculately turned out? Lying bunch of crooks half of them.

I must say that i have seen loads of older peeps with tatts at the swimming pool now you mention it

I remember that some years ago, when my hubby was a police officer, he was involved in a 'strip search' of a suspect. Apparently this chap had a complete fox-hunting scene tattoo all over his back!...................................... the fox's brush was the only part of the fox visible as it was disappearing into it's earth (at the base of the fella's spine !)................... hubby said the tattoo was brilliantly done, and he could not stop laughing about it ! :yh_rotfl :yh_rotfl :yh_rotfl

Not unlike the humour in this one ! :D

I don't judge people by tattoos.....lots of women have them, young and old.

It's just that person expressing what they like or who they are.

I saw a butterfly tattoo on an older lady years ago and thought it was quite becoming.

both my sons have them......no difference between a man a woman, cause were all gonna sag when we get old!:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Never, the Bay City Rollers and i hated punk, just The stranglers. Loved crombies though.

Lol! I went to uni with a guy like that. He was covered in tats, about 10 earrings in each ear and studs all over his face. Very scary to look at. But I got to know him through a friend and found he came from Wales and had the softest, most beautiful lilting welsh accent and was such a genuinely lovely bloke. He lived at the top of a mountain in Wales and his girlfriend lived at the top of the next mountain. They chose a Uni they could both attend as they were doing different courses but wanted to be together. :-4:-4

Exactly.......... You can not judge anyone on a brief meeting or by appearences. I have been proved wrong many times in the past. The joke is, you guys have honours degree's.

My nephew has about 10 earrings in as well but everyone just loves him to bits because he is so kind. Like he says 'That's Me folks' ;)

No, I didn't fancy Les, he was too full of himself.

I fancied Derek the drummer, the quiet, shy one with the lovely smile.

On the island it's almost a right of passage to have a tat. My sister has a couple.

I seriously considered having one at one stage, I wanted a rainbow and a unicorn but the OH doesn't like tats and although he wouldn't stop me I know he wouldn't be happy seeing one on me, so I didn't bother. I do really like the one's girls have on their lower backs though, the sort of scroll effect that you can see when they bend down and you see that bit of skin between top and jeans. I'd like to have one of those.

I like this. I think it's the best tattoo I've ever seen.

And isn't that the truth! :)

Personally I wouldn't have a tattoo, but that's my decision. I remember my brother getting one a while back and thinking 'oh no' to myself but what he had done was a rather nice celtic band around his arm, I was surprised to realise that I liked it.

Each to their own, it's a personal decision and not for anyone else to pass judgement on.

There seems to be a lack of men contributing on this thread. I like all women including those with tattoos, overweight, underweight, facial disfigurements, rotton teeth, smelly feet, or any other trait that they may have. Resentment, Jealousy, maliciousness, and spite, they are what makes a woman ugly.

What does 'top themselves at a certain age' mean? Put on a shirt? I sure the hell hope so..:yh_rotfl

Good lord, is noticing another womans appearance all it takes to be gay? If that's the case, I'm screwed... or not, come to think on it, eh?:D Not that it's a crime if you're gay Bruv.. But there again, there have been no other convictions against him - so who knows. *shrugs*

My 12 year old heart loved this cheeky chappy. :-4

I've been ugly for years with no special efforts on my part...:D:wah:

Yes, it is! :D

He's Derek Longmuir, drummer with the Bay City Rollers.

L to R: Derek, Eric, Alan, Les and Woody.

The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop/rock band of the 1970s. Their youthful, clean-cut image, distinctive styling featuring tartan-trimmed outfits, and cheery, sing-along pop hits helped the group become among the most popular musical acts of their time. For a relatively brief but fervent period (nicknamed "Rollermania"), they were worldwide teen idols. The group's line-up featured numerous changes over the years, but the classic line-up during its heyday included guitarists Eric Faulkner and Stuart Wood, singer Les McKeown, bassist Alan Longmuir, and drummer Derek Longmuir.

Highly succesful Scottish Tartan clad teen group who created "Rollermania" hysteria in rising to worldwide fame with a string of hits including 1975 No1s Bye Bye Baby and Give A Little Love ; also a No1 in the USA with Saturday Night in 1976. In all selling over 100 million records including 11 Top 10 UK singles.

Here ya go. :)

In 2000, Longmuir was sentenced to 300 hours community service after admitting possessing child pornography. Due to the controversy, he was fired from his job at the infirmary though he was later re-admitted to the nursing register. Despite his guilty plea, he maintained that the offending materials did not belong to him, but were left behind by an acquaintance. Longmuir claimed he pleaded guilty in hope of avoiding a "media circus".

In an interview in the Sunday Herald, May 7 2000, Derek's foster son Gorge Loureiro claimed that Longmuir was innocent and had been framed by an obsessed American fan he had befriended, with discs having been sent to his home anonymously days before he was arrested.

I've got those shrunken blue jeans with red tartan around the bottom and up the sides. :o I've got the white shirt with tartan trim on pockets, sleeves and collar. :o I have the tartan scarf we wore tied around our wrist thats covered in BCR badges. :o I think I've even got the stripey socks. :o:o And worst of all? I still have all their albums in the bottom of my wardrobe. :o:o:o:o:o

I'm Rapunzel and I'm a very sad person. :o :D
