I'm just a tad older than you Peg. No foundation or blush for me but plenty of eye-shadow and mascara. I never wear lipstick either.

all depends on where I am going.....just around the house I wear moisturizer only....why clog up pores with make-up when its just me.
If I am going out, foundation, blush and eye liner, lip liner and lipstick.
at night, I use a scrub on my face.
I also wash my face at least 3 times a day...if your prone to zits, what they are is just dirt......so I keep my face clean as often as possible.

I don't wear any make-up at home just moisteriser same as you. To be honest, I would have to cake it on if there was a sniff of the press around :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl I have always been blessed with good skin so don't need foundation but i do love dark eye-shadow and mascara.
You don't need make-up though Joan.
Sometimes you get these women in the public eye who don't make any effort at all and look like a bag of shyte. When ever i dealt with the public, I made an efforet. We also have what's called here in Britain as 'The Essex face lift'. This is where women approaching their 40's scrape their hair back into a tight ponytail to pull the lines tight and kid the world they are younger. It's whats called 'The Chav look' here as the hair is usually over the top bleached peroxide straw. I like woman who use a blond colour but some-times, it can look so cheap. Your hair is a lovely colour. Some women have a beautiful smile and that's all they need.

I still find women who wear just way to much make up in hopes it will hide their lines....and it looks gross.

I only have a few.......but also I have used anti-wrinkle cream for years.
some may think those creams get rid of wrinkles......
well....they don't.....what they do is plump out the skin so you can't see them as much.
so if you stop using the creams.....and the wrinkles come back....you rush out and buy it again.
now also......don't pay for the overly expensive name brands....as they all have the same things in them.
hey...if i look better.......who really cares.
but I feel like I have aged 10 years in 4 months.

I buy loads and never use it half the time. It's that penelope Cruz's fault. She keeps coming on the tv with her mascara :wah: I buy all this stuff and end up using the same eye-shadow all the time. I end up giving it away to the kids.

Just a tad of eye liner and eye shadow to accentuate my beautiful blue eyes and perhaps the slightest hit of rouge to enhance my natural healthy appearance. Oh, and a bit of clear nail polish. I've gotta do something about those ear and nose hairs though. :wah:

Nope.........................don't need it ! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl
Actually I can't use make-up, even if I wanted to (which I don't thank goodness), because I seem to be allergic to most of it.
I used to wear a bit of lippy when I was in my band some years ago, but that was only because of stage lights. I didn't need eye make-up any way because I have dark eyebrows and eye lashes. I hated the taste of lippy as well, and felt that if I hated the taste then any boyfriend, partner, husband etc. would not be keen on the taste either !!

Men think any woman paying another woman a compliment has to be a lesbian and if you get a compliment off another woman, you automatically think they are being sarcastic:wah:
I do it. If some-one says they like my dress, i always answer 'OK, what's wrong with it?'
If she says 'Have you had your hair done'? It's 'Are you being funny'? :wah:
