did I tell you we're remote? then the Lakers come.

My boy has just come home from school and tells me some basketball dude came to our school today .

-"yeah ? which one? "

"dunno, some big black dude. Someone stole his jacket and put it on and then someone stole his cap"

-"really? what happened"

"He gave us a mean stare but we all laughed."

god i love australian kids. they don't even know who he is and they don't care. they were more interested that he was taller than the tallest kid in the school.

so my son was shooting hoops with a Lakers player and he doesn't care who he is. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

This is the chap who all but destroyed World Cricket for a decade? I'm not sure I approve of him.

Nineteen wickets in an Ashes match and you don't approve! Why ever not?

I've got it wrong, haven't I. It's Lakers, not Packers. I'm a poster of very little brain and long words puzzle me.

Ah! Channel Nine - yes, nearly as much damage as the IPL is doing now.

Best check with Wol before you send - that way you'll know it's right :-)

What's to confuse?

Kerry Packer set up a precursor to the IPL for his TV channel and nearly split the cricket world right open whilst Jim Laker was one of the foremost bolers of his day.

That Spot confused the two is bad enough :-)

There's something wrong with my boy this morning He's found his power of speech. He's actually discussing things, That aint normal for a teenager.

It's confirmed Chonsi. it was Kobe Bryant . It's funny they asked directions to the school from one of my boys friends, (an avid basketball player) but he didn't recognise him until Kobe was on the basketball court. Brett reckons his friend almost fainted.:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Kobe was there for a shoot off with one of the kids. Then took his details:-2 don't know what's happening there I'll read the paper today and see what it's all about.
