Lovely Afternoon
As summer fades into school days in two weeks for me, I took the kids (gosh, they're in their early 20s!) to the movies this afternoon. We first stopped at the Venetian glass maker, and they made my daughter and me a pretty necklace, while my son went to look at video games. :wah:
We went and saw GI Joe, and it was a pretty good flick with loads of action and special effects. But time is precious as kids grow older, it was a delight they indulged me to go somewhere and get out of the house. :-4

Lovely Afternoon
:-4:-4 Chons.... They are the kind of days to remember and cherish.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. R.L. Binyon

Lovely Afternoon
Oh, I cherish each moment I have them still, because I know they will be gone someday soon. I am glad I will be a grandmother soon, for young ones again to have around me.
And you do not know how nice it is to have an adult to talk to at times, since they are young adults. I have to be quiet at home with my husband, and say only one or two sentences. It is trying on an old blabber mouth like me who likes to talk about the day's events and stuff.

Sounds lovely Chons.
I am sitting here with our youngest grandson on my knee as I type.
He is pretending to take my nose & hide it.
I love these special times. He had a sleep over with me last night so his Mum & Dad could have a night alone as our new grandchild is due very soon.:-4

If the person you are talking to doesn't appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear ~Winnie the Pooh~
