I had a twinge of sympathy for him as you know how it is? When they first go in prison, everyone visits and then they tail off. We have to remember he is still a child although he's in a very adult world right now. I can not go into details due to Sub Judice law pending his trial but forensics have turned up something that shows a new angle involving the Co-defendants. All we can do is give him the benifit of the doubt until his trial by jury and a verdict is reached. He was asking for comics today. At least there is one thing..... he's not blaming his friends or crying 'mistaken identity'. He accepts his part and has been totally honest with the police.

What a horrid day here? Rain Rain Rain again. What's it like your end? How are you doing?

of course I know you still care, you wouldn't be human if you didn't.

but as you said, he did admit his part.

omg more rain?

sunny, then storms and a high of 30C, probably 90F there?

just woke up to the sound of a police car siren over and over again! uncommon on my street.

just woke up to the sound of a police car siren over and over again! uncommon on my street. Yes, it's really tough. It's funny when you go in there because you see these kids in custody for some of the countries worst murders and they look like my nephew.... just a kid. My nephew stands barely over 5 ft. You know they act the hard man on the streets and then you see them crying to their mums in the visiting suite. All i can say is that from what i now know...... he could get off the murder charge and probably answer to a lesser charge, but we have to wait and see. He has settled down in there and is doing well on his engineering course. The prison get's lifers to come in and talk to him to prepare him for life imprisonment. He seems to have accepted it although he was talking one time of ripping up his duvet cover and hanging himself. This is why it's so important that he see's his baby regually..... it keeps him real and gives him a focus.

And, NO.... I don't give a shyte who's reading this Joan. ;)

Can't we do wife swap? :wah: You come here to the rain and I'll go to yours with your 30 degree's:wah:

He's used to Grouchy :wah:

Your right of course. Not sure I can sit through the trial listening to the defence teams making excuses for them and listening to those injuries again. Hopefully he will come out eventually a better man. When he first went in, he acted a little too tough and got beaten up twice but he's made friends now which is good.

His baby is coming on beautifully and now is the spit image of his dad.

Yes, it's raining again now :-5:-5:-5

Oh don't they just run?:wah:

Since we got all the new furnature in, oscar has become a real pain in the butt. We had a new fireplace put in and all he wants to do is climb up on the mantle piece. He is so fat and clumsy, everything goes flying and then he loses his balance and falls off.

I came home recently and Pete had to break the news that he's got up there again and smashed my dads model Spitfire Plane. Not too bad as Pete repaired it.

So Pete put in a new lounge door with a lock so when we are out, they can't get in here. Then I only have to look at that face of Oscar's and I can't be cross with him.

thank goodness for doors!:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

with no other cat but Jack, if it isn't there....he will find it!:-5:-5

but he's just so darn cute, and he runs away when he has broken something, he knows now he has done something wrong!:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

the worst night.........used to have a 10 gallon fish tank.....no lid....cats only drank the water.....then we get Jack.

while in my office here, I here quite the strange noises at 2am....went out and Jack bending over the tank had a fish in his mouth!:-5:-5

his teeth were clenched so tight, it took me awhile to unloosen the fish.....

put him back in the tank, trying to resesitate him.....

grabbed Jack and put him in our bedroom, as he wanted more!:-5:-5

then......went to clean up the water as it was everywhere......2 more fish on the carpet.

tried to resisitate and put them back.........after a few minutes they were all dead.:(

Youre both probably wearing bunny slippers and one has marmalade dripping from her chin while the other thinks crocheting moose pillows is good times.

Nothing special today after my week of activity. Pete's just gone out to get more chicken for the foxes. God I wish I had a camera that shot in the dark !!! I got out there last night to find 7 foxes, 1 Badger, 1 Very large Hedgehog and 3 neighbours cats :wah:

I am just going to catch up on some paper work but apart from that I am being very lazy today.

My good Turkish pal gave me some tobacco to send to OM..... that was very good of him :-4

those cats better be careful.

tis good to have a lazy day as your on the go all the time.

did more cleaning and scrubbing........grrrrrrrrr

went out and bought more groceries and got stuck in a huge thunderstorm!:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I looked like a drenched rat!:wah::wah: I could do with a thunderstorm to clear the air as it is very hot here also.

The cats are always out there with the foxes and I have seen thm eat together from the same pile of food. The foxes take no notice at all...... it's quite remarkable really but then, there is plenty for all of them and it means they don't have to fight over it.

Pete's going to do the cleaning tonight when it cools down a bit. He's making me one of his Chilli's as well. :o

We are on the patio at the moment as the sun is still hot. :driving::driving:

Are the foxes in your garden? im so jealous! ive only been up close to a wild fox once, and it ran away really quickly :o

I did however get about a foot away from a baby buzzard yesterday, infact we are starting to get a little worried about it. My dad phoned the RSPCB but they didnt want to know!

The entire board on FG knows all about my foxes :wah: Yes, they were driven down to the grounds of the school next door to my home after building on greenbelt. Many get killed on the main road trying to get to the land-fill and the life expectancy of an Urban fox is just 2 years as they get shot, poisoned, hit by cars etc. We just figure it's better to feed them than have them dead. There is around 15 of them although they do not all come at the same time. The average number is around 8 a night. There is quite an operation that goes on behind the scenes to keep them safe and fed including food out-lets giving me meat for them. I have never tried to tame them and never hand feed them except for one's that have been brought to me injured, to keep their wild instincts. The Alpha Pack Leader has been coming for years and has started to become tame and will brush against my legs. Yes, they come to the garden every night at a certain time although we keep the location top secret to keep them safe.

We had a police officer round the house one night and he left in the early hours of the morning. He was astonished to come out my front door and find the pack leader curled up like a dog waiting for his food. I got a torch to show him the others that were lurking and he was taken away by them. :-6

I do have one pic and some of rescue's but it is incredibly hard to get them on film. When I go out to them I have a large tray of food in one hand and the flashlight in the other so It's impossible to hold a camera as well. If my husband comes out with me, they will not come so close and all you get is red eyes on the pics. We are getting a new cam recorder with zoom lens so he can get them by hanging out of the window. Then I hope to be able to post them up here. :-6 One shows a cat eating with them although it's not my pic. :-6

So many people see them as vermin though, its a shame :( When you are lucky enough to see them every night for years, you learn what loving sociable critters they are. I have stood there at night and watched incredible scenes of them grooming each other and protecting their cubs. They also have a very strict pecking order and social ladder. I've also learned they find marmalade bitter :wah:

they kill ranchers and owners ducks & livestock etc. I've said it many times on the forum Joan but I have no problem with a farmer shooting a fox if It's a danger to lambing etc as long as It's humane.

The are mine are in, they are no threat to anything or anybody. :-6

I've just had a late night phone call from an Informer to give me some news. :-6:-6:-6
