ok then...let me bore you by my day yesterday....I'll TRY to make it brief...:wah:

A little background....I live next door to a restaurant compound with the restaurant and 3 small apartments that's usually filled with renters, losers and wack-a-doodles:rolleyes:....no one dangerous though. The owner is the biggest wack of all and is retired and a major pest....We share a driveway...one side is his and one side mine with no barriers inbetween.

Yesterday, I was trying to paint a door having lots of fun spilling paint all over the house and making a mess:rolleyes: Plus I had workmen in and out all day.

There were TONS of visiters to the beach and all were fighting over parking spaces. Everyone was pulling into my driveway to make a turnabout, letting off passengers and parking there to run into the restaurant or bait shop.

I was sooooooooooo pissed that I placed 2 yard chairs and a garbage can at the end of my drive to stop strangers from parking in my drive...everything was on my side of the drive. Plus I had railroad ties trying to separate my drive from his and my ties fell down and it looks a mess now.

So the owner, I'll call him Joe, comes for his Saturday dinner and the family arrives later. He starts shouting and cursing in his native language and takes my chairs and is screaming about my ties.

I went out and told him that those chairs were my chairs, and I had the ties installed. He didn't understand what I was saying to him. I tried to explain that his chairs were blown away...probably in the back of his apartments due to the fact that no one battened down the hatches for Friday's awful storm. In fact, I was the one who gave the original chair to the renter and he left them there when he moved.

He ranted and raged that I took his chairs and did not put the ties down to EVERY member of his family upon their arrival. I was mortified with his complaining. It went on for a long time.

He is a pig and cleans his site 2X a year. I pick up all sorts of garbage from his site, and he's complaining about my railroad ties

I couldn't even explain how the ties were being fixed this week and the mess will be gone by Wednesday because he kept talking over me.

Oh, I could go on and on about the messes he's made that I've lived with and forgiven....plus the ties broke apart due to his renters...but that's another story.....:rolleyes:

I will try to talk with his son, who runs the restaurant, when I see him alone. I think that Joe is on the road to "forgetting things."

Anytime Kathy anytme:D god that must be so frustrating when he is screaming in another language and wont let you talk ,, probably best to adopt the same attitude as him ,,its all people like that understand at times:rolleyes: or failing that just put yer fingers in yer ears and go ,,, alalalalalalalalalal:D:yh_rotfl

OMg thanks! also thats weird as i was having supper at my sisters house ,, a fantastic cualiflower soup she made,,, and we forgto to have dessert!!!:yh_rotfl she had a delish chocolate torte in the fridge and we forgot about it:-5

well i did somethign constructive today which was ironing:wah::wah:,, im taking Shiela out for her afternoon walk now ,,then have a look whats to do for tea later

think i have some peppered staek in the fridge needs using,, might do some new pots and a nice salad with it:)

I loved it when we were overseas and peeps were saying they were having a heatwave:wah:...yeah, right:wah:

Hubs is working with 3 dudes from Ireland & was asking them all sorts of questions the other day...they like it better in the states than over there:wah:. I think they are on work visas only so back they go. Don't mind them though. We did meet peeps who had lived here for 5 yrs or more but alot went back.

Its very quiet in my house right now...everyone is still sleeping except the cat who is making meows & the fridge is making its noises...sounds like it has gas:wah:

God where has today gone??? got up had a cofee and a banana, took sheila out for her walk,,, had another cofee read a coupl of pages of my book, ironed,, was wuite a bit of ironing:-5 had some muesli for my lunch,, came on PC and checked e mails etc,,sorted a couple of things on computer,, now its time to take Sheila out again, then i have my sister coming over so im doing Lasagne, new pots and salad!

Yummy, i love lasagne with some really good Italian garlic bread....you just gave me an idea for dinner on Sunday night.:-6
