Why Get Pissed Today---Or Any Day?

I hate this particular thread and don't participate because I can't remember the last time I got pissed. It's sooooo negative, almost like some people go day to day looking for something or someone to **** them off, and if you are looking, you will find it for sure.

People that get pissed that easily must have a personality disorder. They are the ones that usually start wars I suspect, or commit crimes of passion and assault. Probably even the ones that kick dogs and cats and pick on small children.

Nothing has ever made you mad Lon? Sometimes it's good to vent. Sometimes it can put things into perspective. I would worry though if I found something to be mad about every day. :wah:

I'm a bit pissed now. I have beed rendering some walls , using muck knocked up in a wheelbarrow, old place, so 1:2:6 base coat cough splutter. I don't know how many people here have perfect lives but I'm surely not one of them. I could say more in this respect but don't want to start an all out war.

Some do bitch about mindless things, some bitch about more important things. I don't see any harm. For some, it might be a comfort knowing someone cares.

Perhaps you have the almighty perfect life, well most of us here don't, sometimes it can be something simple, sometimes in our lives its huge.

It's a great way to relieve stress and feelings and just vent.

and its not negativity in the least, these things do happen.

Well, I'm not sure that I've actually gotten all that deep in there to be honest. Mostly because I'm more afraid of pity than I am of self-imploding. You've obviously been in the thread though, you see what people rant about.

Nothing worng with venting, as long as it within reasonable bounds. It helps many people on bad days, and some have them. Everyone one does once in awhile.

And then, many come here, in this setting where our friends are. Yes, we have loads of real life friends too. But many of us consider people here on FG friends, and have known each other for years. They offer us an ear to hear, some advice or nice comment, and then it does help. Nothing wrong with that at all.

If life was a bowl of cherries, some of us still are at the time of life where we're only getting the pits, and want some of the fruit! Of course, I will share some of mine with Jock, our macho dude around here.

I get annoyed and irritated from time to time by a number of things but never sufficiently enough to consider posting on a public forum. Pissed off-----no, I am 75 years old and have mellowed out to the point that getting upset over minutia is a waste of time and energy.

People like that are quite annoying. I know just the type you mean. One of the camp hosts here at PDR has the crappiest attitude, we get tons of complaints from campers about his demeanor. His wife claims that's 'just how he is, but he's not like that at home' ... :rolleyes::rolleyes:
