Well this morning I said the words I promised myself I would never say .....Bloody teenagers!!!!!

Ever heard the term " the devil made me do it"? well it goes hand in hand with " A teenager made me do it" :-5

I'm being asked this morning for something .....i say "no" ..he asks "why" ....I give the reason ...then he says "yeah but" .(those with teenagers know where this is going ).and I still say "no" ...then it got to the point where it the conversation was heated ........

and I said those words my mother said to me ......"I gave birth to you not the other way around , suck it up "

Oh god I became my mother today ...for shame for shame!!!:-5:-5:-5:-5

How many of you have doen this ....Used your parents words, when you promised youself you never would.?

Fuzzy, I did all the time. We teach what we have learned. I'm sure there a many here that have noticed the same thing.

Yes, we teach what we have learned and always promise ourselves we would never say it....yeah right.:wah: I'm the boss period.

youngest is just turning .....deoderant , pinples, slamming doors ...my little sweet boy is gone :-1 poor thing .

:yh_rotfl Nope I'm happy to sit here and sympathize with your predicament. But I don't think I could cope .........If I hear one more "He hit me" and the wail that follows then "I didn't he got in the way of my hand. I idnd't know he was standing there " :-5:-5:-5 I'll scream!!!!!

Yes, I've caught myself saying things to my daughter that my mother said to me. One of the most frustrating things mother used to say was 'because I said so' in a round of arguing about whether I could do something or not. I've said that to my now seven year old daughter on a couple of occasions as she just goes on and on and on and on :-5 I keep hoping that maybe if she's such an awkward child now she'll be an angel teen

Last week by 13 year old daughter gave my wife ‘that look’. My wife said to me ‘did you see the look she gave me?’

I said ‘give it a year there will be plenty of words that will soon come along with that look’.

My 14 year old just goes on and on and on ....think he trys to wear me down with constant nagging.....I'm strong though he never gets away with it ....well most times

I know exactly what your talking about...my guy does it & if I scream...he says "inside voices" in a shrill voice...:-5:-5 GF, can't wait for school to start!
