The weekend's here (yay!) so what's your favourite thing to do on the weekend?? Do you like to party hard, go to the movies, or curl up with a good book?? And what are some of the more unusual things you've done?

Sleep in an hour on Saturday, it is a luxury for me!
And once a month or so I get to have lunch with the Red Hatters from my church! It gets me out of the house for 2 hours! And away from housework!

Actually ladies, my weekend will be a combination of those two. Have absolutely nothing planned except my sleep in tomorrow!

Well I'm pretty lucky at the moment as I have the weekdays off as well, (no bragging here
) So to be honest the weekend is just like a weekday for me, but probably worse because my mad brothers are home all weekend, and do nothing but cause trouble!!

canaan wrote: Busy weekend. Tonight we are off to a High School football game/homecoming...so it will be fun. The traffic out of there is not fun though.
Tomorrow is my husbands birthday so he will be extra high maintenance. He has been reminding us of it since Sept. 1st. :wah:
Church and meetings all day Sunday.
Weekends aren't my fav. that is when I do most of my work. Monday, when everyone goes back to work and school ... now that is when I get excited!
Sounds like fun. I hope the game tonight and the rest of the weekend go well for ya.

Lazy weekend for us here, the weather forecast is not too good.
Will go to the beach tomorrow to collect some pebbles for a project my son is doing at school, may go for a walk depending on the weather and how wet we all get on the beach!
The children go to their Dad on Sunday for a few hours, so I'll try to organise something for me to do, if the weather is good I could go for a bike ride.

I have to be up early doors, me and Ian are going to look at a house near Aberdeen Scotland.
It'll be a 6 hour drive each way (poor Ian!) i'm looking forward to it as i've never been to Scotland before,
so it should be a nice day. :-6

Scotland's a lovely place, I highly recommend it. Though the weather there is obviously known to be a tad on the naff side.

I work all weekend. Can't complain though since I had the last 2 off. Hubby deejays tonight and tomorrow night so I'm on my own. My son is staying at a friend's house tonight so it depends on what my daughter is doing after the football game as to what I'll do.

Football! In Oklahoma it's another religion! No, I am NOT a Sooner's fan. Can't stand them. I am a proud Oklahoma State University grad. And, I can say for once in I don't remember how long that OSU has a better record than OU! Well, we've only played two games (Montana State and Florida Atlantic) and won both games. OU lost to TCU....can't quite believe it, but I was happy about it!
We lived in the Washington DC area for two years and rooted for the Redskins. I'll keep that up because everyone down here is Dallas Cowboy fans.....I grew up with OU and Dallas being shoved down my throat. Can't stand either team.

so many questions! :-6Ian wants a somewhere for holidays for now and then eventually to retire there.
He's also looking at houses in Wales, the problem for him is, he lives down south
so its proving a little difficult him getting to look at property.
I must say, i am looking forward to seeing the Scottish countryside, all be it from a car!:driving:

For the first weekend in months, the club has no activities planned. Which means we get to ride, sleep in, ride, cook elaborate meals, ride, hang out with the kids, ride, wash the bikes, ride, polish chrome, ride, and maybe somewhere in there, we'll get to ride!

Going over to the Mall to start some Christmas shopping tomorrow. Eat out somewhere and take the long way home through the mountains to see if we can locate the elk herd and get a few pics. Then, Sunday...probably mow some grass and finish up some painting on the windows.

My favorite week-end activity is going to household auctions which are held outside in Illinois in good weather. Went to one last week and spent all of $13.00
Thats really low for me. Just didn't see anything I was wild about. Have a tag sale spotted 50 miles from me that really has a lot of good stuff. Don't know with the price of gas if I should spend it on a tag sale. Other than that if some of my kids don't show up it is kind of low-key. :driving:
