Did you visit Ground Zero?
I did.
I could not put into words the over-whelming silence, awe, respect and sadness.
I have only ever been affected like this once before when I visited Austwich.
Have you been?
What did you feel?

I went in 2002. I met so many people of all nationalities and I had a sense that the world had come together there. No-body spoke. It was eerie yet had a remarkable sense of peace. I'm glad I went. It touched me in so many ways.

I definitely plan to. I remember watching it unfold that day as I watched it on television from my safe, cushy office. It was so sad and humbling at the same time at what little things we take for granted when we show up for work for what is supposed to be a normal day.

Yes and standing there at Ground Zero makes you feel very humble and thankful.

I find it difficult to believe you were silent.
