Happy Immy!!!

Some of you will remember that about a year ago I had a change of career from florist to driving instructor. For the last year I have been teaching on a trainee licence whilst getting extra training and experience before taking my final test. Well.........

today I took that final test and I passed!!!!!

I'm now fully qualified and bloomin' relieved to be finally through it!!!:D

FG was the first 'person' I had to tell,

well, after my hubby, my tutor, my kids, my mum and dad and my colleagues but definitely FG was, hang on, 6th to tell............:yh_rotfl

Spot would take Immy anywhere in his mythical Bristol Blenheim Speedster, and what's more she knows it.

Mind you, she'd have to drive.

No, I had to take an advanced driving test but it's organised by the Driving Standards Agency.

I got my IAM badge many years ago. The first reason was to make sure I had not got into bad habits driving, the second reason was that at that time I got 20% discount off my car insurance, the third reason was that I was a woman driver and felt that too many men slagged us off as being incompetent ! Felt good (and still does) having that small red and white triangle on the front of my car ! It also causes me to drive well because I'm advertising that I am supposed to be an advanced driver ! (keeps me in check :wah:).

However, I don't think I would have the patience (or the courage) to undertake doing a driving tutor's tests etc. and becoming a driving tutor !
