The Bus Journey from York Stonebow to Malton!:

I await at the bus stop at Stonebow with old people (lots of) and a few others waiting for the bus. As usual it is 10 minutes later and the traffic is so bad that some of us have the idea of having to walk further up the street only for the bus to move downwards!! I am now on the bus sat with my brother listening to Old people and students all talking at once, how annoying......with some luck they will be getting off a Stockton-on-forest. Look out of the window to see a horrid office appartment block new built and some other boring buildings and the drab river foss, it's not worth fishing in!....Over the bridge u get to see the only big chimney in the distance which belongs to York recycling depot....Then u go passed Netto and on to Heworth village the nicer side of Heworth. This is a great surburb full of trees and nice houses. Then out of York and onwards bound for Stockton-on-forest a long road that seems to strech for miles. The scenary isn't stunning here that's for sure but i am happy cos as expected the students and old people soon leave the bus! Get some peace now as we head onto the A64. The scenary suddenly gets lush just 6 miles from Malton once we got up a huge hill onto the Wolds there is lots of forests to the right of us and on the other side u can see the Morseleum of Castle Howard. This is my favourite view i love it around these parts. Once we get closer to Malton it is all over and we head into a town ruined by traffic! As expected we are in a traffic Jam like it is London....we are moving extremely slowly to the station. The council spend money on making a pavement in Norton wider when really they should be thinking how they can reduce traffic on Castlegate one of the worst traffic blackspots in Yorkshire it is like rush hour all day long apart from sunday. They reckon that a junction on the A64 will reduce traffic yet it seems to me that most people in Malton have cars and use them to travel distances that they could either walk or cycle (excluding the school run).

Veiws from outside Malton and Norton and other ramblings!:

From the south heading out of Norton and over Welham hill u can see the rolling hills of the Wolds and there in the distance u can see Drax Power station which is over 30 miles away near the bottom of North Yorkshire! Funnily enough from near Howsham hill on the buttercrambe road u can see Welham hill 6 miles north.

From Castle Howard road there is a public footpath near a Forest and by walking this way u can see plenty of the North York Moors in the distance and on a clear day u can see Pickering at least 8 miles away the reason being that it is mainly flat all the way to pickering unless u avoid the A169.

From Welham hill looking into the town most of it is visible from up there u can see the church clock that is what stands out the most being the tallest building at round a eighty foot the church is stood on a hill within Malton.

Sometimes from Wharram le street, if u go on the hills near it u can see Malton in the distance around 6 miles away.

Although Norton is mostily flat most of Malton has been built on Hills. Most ways into Norton take u down the hills of the Wolds. Malton acess is usually after the Wolds have flattened out just before the town. To the north is the Vale of Pickering and to the west is the Howardian Hills (called so because of Castle Howard which had to have a village demolised in the 16th centuary to make it!) to the east is Norton. To the south of Norton is the Wolds. In the distance north is the North York Moors.

I must. I feel compelled to teach myself a lesson Ill not soon forget. If I had one of those whips you can use on your own back Id beat myself senseless.

Don't worry about it this world makes u loose your temper....well especially where i live. I don't know if it's to do with being older but things have really started to make me angry at times like an old man who lives near me has a two dogs and they bark away at random times during the day sometimes as late as 12.30am! Also i think the scrote who is his son...well he turns up in his land rover to see him and leaves the engine running with his ugly girlfriend sat there like a doddo while he goes inside to chat to him!!....There seems to be something going on every day twats running there engines or dogs barking or middle aged deadbeats talking at the top of there voice to each other in the morning about absolute trivial tripe! Also the things that really makes me angry is people in public places who chat away when u are trying to get served in a shop and often the shop assistant will just goad them on they aren't bothered about people waiting to be served....and that's not all! people who keep me waiting while they buy next to nothing shopping on a visa card....i am glad i don't have one....and people taking there time by buying scratch cards....and traffic clogging up the roads i think York has less traffic than our town at times!:-5

Good one. Scrote, I like it. Idiot. He should get himself a pretty girlfriend that flashes you while hes in the house. He never will though because he cant. He can only get ugly girls.

I too hate it when people chat while Im trying to be served. ****ing chatters. Chatty Kathy's. Chowder headed chatties. Chat farts, thats what they are, everytime they open their mouths its like a fart is being fabricated. How rude is that? If they would just shut their pie holes long enough so I can get served without being farted on it would be a miracle. And the shop keeper who seems to be practically begging them to annoy me, hes the worst of all of them. If his store burned down Id laugh. Id laugh and then Id feel pity for him because he doesnt realize how stupid he is and his store burning down is punishment for letting people fart on me.

Frickin scratch card buyers...they cant just buy one can they? They buy 30 then scratch them all and get in line again because they won 2 dollars and they want 2 more tickets. Those people are sick in the head. Theyre like a bunch of crazed maniacs that dont have anything better to do than run around scratching tickets all day. I dont think God likes those people very much either.

omg....a dog was sitting on my front deck......I was so shocked to see him there.

checked his collar, phoned his owners and they came asap.....he only lived across the street 4 houses down.......

he just dug under their fence.

thank god he was there and it was so easy to check his collar.....huh!

I live next to an apartment that belongs to the restaurant next door. This apt. has 3 wee bedrooms big enough for a full size bed and bureau....That's why it had have a CO for 6 people:( Too bad it has only 1 bathroom and small kitchen & living area. That's why when college students or young adults that rent here have to run around to the side of my fence and pee.

I was hoping that it wouldn't be rented this winter, but some young people just rented it. I'm hoping for the best...It's hard living next to a rental place as we share a fence and a driveway and renters ding my car and usually try to place a million cars into the driveway sideways....:-1 Plus they party 24/7 and don't give a s*it about anything.
