I haven't ever made banana bread. I do sometimes make buttermilk soda bread and corn bread though. Nothing quite like a good rice pudding on a cold winter's day. Very slow cooked to absorb several pints of milk... with a skin of butter and nutmeg... ahhhhhhhhhhhh..

Got the fam coming over for dinner on Sunday - now I'm wondering whether to do a yorkshire pudding.... for the kids the roast beef and other stuff is merely a decoration... it's the yorkshire they come for!!

(I know none of these things yummy things are very french.. Him Indoors is a Brit and so we compromise!!! Without too much pain :sneaky:)

I love making my own bread during the winter months. I usually make dough in my breadmaker and then shape it and add other herbs or spices.

I also make my own pizza with homemade arriabiata sauce.

Banana bread is my all-time favorite, and I make it when we have company or for school parties;)

Just stopped by our farmers market again this am. The same buxom beauty from last Saturday had her stand up. She had lots of baked goods to choose from. This time I bought a blueberry loaf. Yummy. Wish I had bought two.
