Am I the only person that gets frustrated with threads that sometimes veer off topic, as conversations do face to face, but then the thread bogs down in who or why or what caused the topic to go off topic.....which incidentally is off topic too, but no body seems to get that bit.

Many threads are interesting 'off topic' until the 'off topic' complainers start complaining, then it is just a case of talking about nothing rather than the interesting off shoot of the original topic..

Sorry I am not complaining (or maybe I am) its just an observation.

Why is it that every long weekend is automatically wet?

it just normal that some do off topic, as something else pops up in our minds.........

I know first hand on a couple of my threads, some have gone off topic, I'm used to it now, everyone does it........try and relax.

Well, are you or aren't you complaining :wah:

It's incredibly hard, sometimes threads just veer slightly off topic, sometimes they stomp hard in the complete opposite direction. But, face to face conversations do that too.

At least here you don't get half a sentence that then quickly changes to another matter entirely, that's what I get in reality from a family member, I keep up with it, call it lifetime training, but anyone else non-family sits there with their mouth open wondering at which point they completely lost the plot.... actually that does happen here sometimes hey :wah::wah:

I am only commenting rather than complaining about the inquest that totally railroads the whole thread.

So it ends up with no topic at all, I wouldn't mind betting some threads are 25% complaining about who went off topic first or some other irrelevant point of order.

Funny you should say that, Betty. I've been told that my conversations tend towards surreality. Or rather that my single blonde neuron hops from half baked thought to half baked thought, rather like a kangaroo in a paddock of sheep. By the way, how is the brown cardie??? We should be almost in summer here, but today is cold enough to think of woollens, when we're not debating angels. Wonder if angels feel the cold. And if any of them do look like Alan Rickman. There's a youtube video comparing his appearance in Dogma with him as Severus Snape, but this one isn't it.

The brown cardi remains in my possession and in one piece. I almost wore it for a laugh when I visited Theia yesterday. The pink one won instead, which was just as amusing as we thought that maybe we'd both picked up the same cardi a few months ago. 'SNAP' she said when she opened the door. :wah:

By the way, the matching cardi's have frills and pom poms, I think we may have started an Extreme Cardi Contest between us :wah::wah:

I remember this great park I used to ride my bike to when I was a kid. I think it was called Lions Park but it doesnt look like I remember it and its not where I thought it was.

I sat in the parking lot for a half hr one day trying to piece it all together.

Im a little confused about the whole thing to be perfectly honest.

its the hazel nuts in chocalate i mean how can you tell if one has a bug in it huh ?? if you pick a hazlenut off of a tree you can indeed inspect the shell for signs of a bug having bitten through and could be waiting there in your hazlenut for you to bite into eat ,which by the way is the most efficient way of finding them

and that slogan ..what has a hazlenut in every bite??? squirrel shyte that put me off as well

sorry i'm really going off topic now :sneaky::sneaky:

oh Boops Hug Thiea for me too.

Bruv, often we go off topic because some days it's just a bunch of silly friends trying to make light of life. I dunno, if you start a post and you want to keep it on topic just keep posting and reminding posters you would really like to keep on topic. Hmmm I know who am I to talk I never start threads ah well.

Just don't give up. Some of us can stick to the task at hand ok.

Cheers

Oh look something shiney... gotta go!!!
