The cat, I suppose you could pad the walls 8" up from the floor and put little landing pads at the bottom of the steps.
Otherwise just enjoy the show.

The worst was yesterday. We came home to find she had missed the litter tray and the poop was behind the lounge door. As I swung the door open, the poop spread all over the floor and stuck under the door. No problem with the floor as It's tiled and easy to clean but I had to take the door off the hinges to get under it to clean it.
Is this selective behaviour strictly confined to the Persian Species? As I've never had this with other cats.

Peanut also sits for hours staring at a wall in the kitchen. She likes the tile fourth row up, third from the left.

Yea, Simone goes into deep trances. She looks like shes praying. Probably something like please let me find my way to the food.

She has a little area of work surface where she's fed so the 3 dogs don't steal her food. I find it particually entertaining when she goes into a trance on the work top, sways a little and then falls off.

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

I suspect there is no "Peanut" Muka Poo. I think Oscar is crying for help.
