Nomad Day

Post by Nomad »

I would like to make today Nomad Day, a time for all of us to celebrate me. There should be popcorn balls, theyre very festive. If there arent any popcorn balls then you can all go to hell because youre not trying hard enough.

Thanks Pam. Maybe you could get together with some of the other guys and come up with a tribute or something.

I'm not too good at getting together with other people, Nomad. Like you, I don't play well with other children. And so I don't get invited to their parties either. But all is not lost. The bestest, most eccentricest, most fabulous people are all really out there on their own - sad, misunderstood and stylishly melancholy.

I might try one of those popcorn things

Wanna glass of fruit punch?

G'day Kaz. Maybe you did!! :sneaky:

I've been thinking, and Peg's amazing pics sort of inspired this. Nomad day is really just to get us warmed up - er iced down - for Halloween, isn't it??!!

We don't actually celebrate this feast Down Under - and of course it's spring here, not Fall anyway - but I did manage to find a few strings of orange and black punkin type tinsel and have festooned my balcony. One of my kids mistook this for early Chrissie decorations... ORANGE AND BLACK !!!

So folks, mark this date on your calendars as a reminder. October 15th is the official Nomad day. For years to come, you will inevitably be asked, "Where were you and what were you doing on the very first Nomad Day?" All of us will honestly be able to answer, "We were right here on the Forum Garden, reading the threads on the home page."

Wow.

This is going way better than I imagined.

Its like a party and a circus all wrapped up into one big gala affair.

Maybe we should extend this to a week so people from all over the world get a chance to enjoy me.
